I need help with a fic plot point

anyone's opinion, would Bunny smashing her mirror and crying in the floor
after overhearing Antoine(scum that he was when last I saw him. (I haven't
been able to keep up with the comics lately, nor any fanfic) talking about
how hideous or some other derogatory word the roboticized mobians were be
too cliche? I've not seen it done, but that means very little as my
interests frequently shift and have just shifted back to sonic. Any ideas?

I think Sparf's referring to the "Return of The King" Super Special where
Antoine was miscast as a pompous jackass... he said that he hadn't been
keeping up with the comics.

Actually, I had heard that they were an item, but this fic is to be set back
during the SatAM show at some time, when he WAS a pompous Jackass. And it's
not like it's intentional, but more like he was talking to someone (or to
himself) and was overheard...
