What's that? You want what? Pay admittance? Nobody said anything about an
entry fee... well, here, how's this?

At Sunset, Looking East

no cartoon-colored glories here,
no vivid, demanding orange and crimson,
but rather a gentler, softer beauty
drawn in pastels instead of oil paint
deep-sea blue, red-violet, gentle rose
fading into the lighter blue of sky

and the moon hangs low,
cradled in a basket of cloud,
like a Japanese painting.

at my back, the sun falls behind the world
and as I watch
blues grow deeper,
dusky rose fades,
darkness climbs from beneath the horizon
and scatters stars across the sky

and the moon hangs low,
half-covered by a finger of cloud,
like a Japanese painting.

btw, SR, enquiring minds want to know... were you selected as one of the
thousand, or did you get an extra-special personal invitation to the beta?

I supposedly got a personal invite by Max VP of Blizzard. We'll see
