I'm usually not into the PC crazy save the animals crap, but I have
been against the fur trade for a long time. Add this to the list of
abominable crap that SMG pulls.
Killing animals for fashion. Stupid fucking bitch. No wonder she
looked like she was on crack in those pictures. Why didn't anyone
mention the stupid bitch was being protested?

Around 30 protesters held a vibrant and effective demo at the the
opening of Harrods Summer Sale, a great turnout for a demo at 8
o'clock in the morning. The sale was due to be officially opened by
the American actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, of "Buffy the Vampire
Slayer" fame.
As we gathered by door number 5 to await the opening ceremony, a four
piece string quartet played on a large stage which had been erected
especially for the occasion. Between the music we used a megaphone to
inform the waiting shoppers and media about Harrods' involvement with
the fur trade, while others handed out leaflets.
At 9am, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar arrived in a horse drawn
carriage, and preceded by a Scottish bagpipe band, where she was
greeted by Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed. A loud chant of "Fur Trade
Death Trade" and "Shame on Harrods" echoed around the specially built
stage. Together with the many placards, the fur protest was very
prominent, though you would never know from the media reports.
A large crowd of around 35 photographers and film crews were in
attendance, and took many photos and film footage of the demo. The
subsequent news reports about the opening of the sale played down the
protest, some completely ignored it. Because it was impossible to film
Gellar's arrival without the protest, nearly all the news items were
accompanied instead by photos of Gellar and Al Fayed inside the store,
posing with Al Fayed's two small dogs.
Nevertheless, the protest got a mention in many newspapers and
websites around the world. And more importantly we ensured that yet
again, another PR stunt organised by Harrods was accompanied by an

Please politely email, phone, fax, write to Harrods to request that it
takes the compassionate decision to n stop the sale of all real animal
fur and adopt a fur-free policy. Remember to point out that fur
farming is illegal in the UK, so they should come into line with the
wishes of the British public and the democratic will of Parliament.

a letter to PETA a few years back dismissing the fur industry after
she was busted wearing fur. Now she is the celebrity face of the last
department store to sell illegal fur.
WHERE IS HER FREAKING STATEMENT?
If you look anywhere, this is the most recent event SMG has been
involved in, and you would think that, if she were against fur, she
would have issued a statement by now.
But no, that would jeopardize her mediocre stint PROMOTING that store.

dead group. how any grown up educated person can be suckered into this
crap is beyond me, even the aliens i meet at the UFO landing sites think

what is illegal about the fur trade? i grew up on a farm and have killed
so my chickens, etc you want to come arrest me? ha i am a hunter also, i
swear the world would so better without all you animal rights freaks. now
i am a HUGE environmentalist, i will stand against the loss of habitat and
even embargo counties that are destroying there natural habitat. it is you

well i do not have a PHD but i made it up with a MBA in the field of art
direction and MAA in communication in the field of animation and video
graphics. I can see through the craziness of PETA, these people do not
understand evolution and our place in it. too many talking cartoons in
there youth warped there minds into thinking animals are self aware.
when you can convince animals to stop eating each other. pass a animal
rights act though the animal congress, we can then talk about people giving
animals the same rights we have.

You say I'm a crazy, but I have no problem with what you said. If you
are killing animals to feed your family, you're more of a man than I
am, and I'm probably encouraging factory ranching buying steak and
chicken at a grocery store.
I have a friend that hunts gator, and we have that semi regularly.
My issue is with a person that is killing animals just to drape
themselves with them. This stands out over killing animals for food
and a lot of people see it as a reprehensible practice.
Not to mention, Sarah sees fault with it, or at least pretends to, as
she considered herself a 'fur foe' back in 2000 when she was called
out on it. If she's gonna wear furs, she should tell those people to
fuck themselves and be honest about it instead of lying.

So do you think that it's right to raise animals for fur and keep them
inhumanely? Most people are a little more enlightened about that kind
of stuff these days, but maybe the mouth breathing SMG fans are left
in the past with her career...
