I'm not going to bash SOS in this post (well, not much), because I don't need
to. The evidence speaks for itself.

They've finally finished the "What Are We Missing?" page. I urge everyone to
go see it, I assure you that you'll be sorely disappointed. Or at least, you
will if you expected anything GOOD from SOS.. I was, of course, completely
satisfied, my fears and suspicions confirmed. *_*

The damned, DAMNED page* can be found at:

Something I noticed last time I visited the page: The pic at the top of
the page, which supposedly represents what we will never see unless DiC
dubs the rest of Sailor Moon is actually from the R season! It was from
"Serena Times Two"!!! Here's my problem: If this is the sort of thing
that we would all like to see, then DiC is NOT the way to go. I don't
think that SOS has their wits about them.

Moon Scepter Anima-Nation? Sounds like a retail store..

And where did this come from:
"In a magazine interview, Naoko Takeuchi (the creator of the series)
explains Haruka and Michiru's relationship through terms of their
history. During the Moon Kingdom, the Prince of Uranus was in love with
Sailor Neptune. His sister, Sailor Uranus, was mortally wounded in the
battle with Beryl's forces, but before she died she conferred her powers
onto him. Then Queen Serenity sent everyone to Earth, and since all
Senshi are female, and the Prince now had Senshi powers, he was reborn
as a girl; but even so, his love for Sailor Neptune endured. Thus,
according to this interpretation, they are not lesbians but former
lovers ironically reunited as the same gender."

O_o

This sounds more like a lame excuse to cover up the fact that they're
lesbians.

What was left of my respect for SOS has just gone down the drain...

I read another interview excerpt on a Sailor Uranus shrine and it was
COMPLETELY different, so much that the same person would not have said those
two things unless Takeuchi-sensei has some kind of multiple personality thing
going on.
Who do I trust, a good shrine or SOS?
My instincts go with the shrine.

As much as I dislike the hack job that DiC did to SM, cutting out the
gun-to-the-head scene was something I definitely support. It might have
been okay in Japan, but not on this continent where gun tragedies seem to
happen too often.

Heh umm, it was a plastic dart gun =P It also comes up again later on.

After visiting the temp page today, I have another comment to make...

WHY are they talking about episodes that will NEVER be dubbed by DiC?
DiC will NOT go back and dub episodes from past seasons. There is no
way that they will. Why does SOS waste their breath? Perhaps they'll
sway DiC to dub some of S, but there is NO WAY that DiC will go back for
five episodes that they originally cut.

Where did this -=rediculous=- "prince uranus" story come from??! That's
a load of BS. Did they put that in for the zealous Christian Mothers
Association who would otherwise start their own "Down with Sailor Moon"
campaign? I don't even want to get into that issue, actually. But if
SOS wants to make up all the crap in the world for their webpage, they
should realize that I will not take them seriously.

So DIC won't show Rini pointing a gun to Serena's head, so what?! MTV
won't let rap stars do that either!

What the HEY?? I'm sorry, Ming, Aaron, I'm gonna need some hard evidence
on this one...I find it hard to believe that nobody has ever heard of or
discussed this twin before. It seems plausible if it really is true,
I've just never heard a thing about it before. Hmm...

I'm about to e-mail SOS to see if I can have access to the article in some form
or another...I'd really like to know exactly where they're getting this stuff.

The problem I have with all of these "interviews" is how do we now
they're real? I haven't seen any page that had the name of the magazine
that the supposed interview appeared in.

While reading alt.fan.sailor-moon (and generally minding my own

Ditto. You better pony up some documentation, in the form of magazine
name, issue #, dte, and page; or (if personal interview) date of
interview, location, and how it got arranged; or documention that
someone hacked your page to defame you; and you might want to do it
fast, while your ship is still floating.

And they wonder why we don't trust any news from them? It is their
responsibility to site their sources so that others can confirm or deny
them.

This is just a guess, of course, but I doubt they can. This doesn't sound even
remotely real.

I wonder when SOS got to the point where they thought they somehow had the
authority to decide whether or not SMS should be censored, and how. And these
people are trying to claim that they're fighting for "less censorship"? Makes
a person wonder if there's some truth to those "paranoid" unproven claims
about SOS.

<gets a laughing fit> Oh no, that's really SO gross... They must've been on a
really bad trip when they wrote that - this just shows it's no good idea to mix
marihuana with LSD and then stretch it with Mr. Clean ^_^;; That combination
obviously totally fried their brains...
