Drug addled Limbaugh actually went deaf as a result of his drug
addiction. Not only that, he used to drive hive his maid around with a
cigar box full of cash to buy his illegal drugs for him.

This is your hero, a great American.

Is something wrong with this picture.

He once said that a college practice of one night stands was
demeaning to females. This was before he traveled to the Dominican

And of course Rush would *never* say anything demeaning to females.....

Obama did booze, smoke and cocaine for years - not because he was in
pain after a back operation, but became he wanted to become stupid.

Yes or no - was there a great recession/depression after WWI?

Rush because addicted to painkillers after a back operation. Obama
was an alcoholic, a pot head and a coke head because he wanted to fit

Not nearly as much fun as it is listening to spending years feigning
outrage over Rush's addiction to painkillers after an operation, but
hemming and hawing over Obama's years as an alcoholic, pothead and
coke head.

Oh, it's the HYPOCRISY that you hate, is it?

You just hate, hate, HATE HYPOCRISY!!!!

Obama called for Don Imus to be fired for uttering the words "nappy

difference - three words were uttered, so the I Man had to go.

However, when Obama's minister of twenty years said that the 3000
people who died during the World Trade Center DESERVED TO DIE, when he
said that blacks think with different parts of the brains, repeatedly
screamed "God DAMN America",

But it's HYPOCRISY that you hate, huh?

OK, when someone you like (Obama) openly admits in a best selling book
that he indulged in addictive behavior is not enough evidence for
you. However, when a random conservative says that he doesn't drink,
you dismiss the claim out of hand.

But it's HYPOCRISY that you hate. You must loath shaving in the

Last Oct., I had a bone marrow transplant, one that I was not expected
to survive. One of the side effects of an anti-biotic I was given was
the blistering of my lips, mouth, throat and stomach. This lasted
three week, and I have stomach problems to this day. I was offered
tons of pills to deal with the pain - I was also on a morphine drip,
which I mostly ignored. One of the reason I mostly refused the pills,
and instead decided to ride through the pain, was the thought that
they were too powerful for Rush Limbaugh to handle.

I've also seen too many people I loved die from drugs.

Don't want them. Don't need them.

Rush Limbaugh's addict took place around 2003, not 1993. Rush was not
using drugs while blasting them.

The outrage isn't over Obama's addiction, it's over his hypocrisy. If
Obama calls for young men to go to jail for recreational drug use
after he, himself, indulged in such activity for years, that most
certainly makes him a hypocrite - a far worse one than Rush who became

addicted to painkillers after a back operation.

BTW, yes or no, was there a great recession/depression post WWI?

This is anal cyst Limbaugh who regularly called Clinton a draft
dodger while never mentioning "other priorities" Cheney who had five
deferments or explaining why his (Limbaugh's) draft board never sent
him to an army doctor to look at an ailment that was not obvious.

This is thrice divorced Limbaugh who blamed liberals for rising
divorce rates ignoring the fact that Texas has a higher divorce rate
than Massachusetts.

This is Limbaugh who complains about the "drive by media" yet
regularly attributes his claims to "I saw a story", or "a blogger said"
and when asked to back up his implications (Hillary had Vince Foster
killed, the imaginary Michelle Obama tape) says that he is just
repeating what others have said.

This is Limbaugh who claims to have great debating powers yet never
appears in a forum that he does not control, never has liberal guests on
his show and runs out of time when a liberal caller sneaks in and gets
the better of him.

This is Limbaugh who started Operation Chaos to prevent Democrats from
having a nominee before the convention and suddenly stopped talking
about it a few weeks ago.

This is Limbaugh who says that Democrats are racists and regularly
mentions "sheets Byrd" while never noting that Byrd long ago renounced
his KKK membership while ignoring Trent (we would have been better off
with a segregationist president in 1948) Lott never renounced his
Citizens Council membership. The same Limbaugh once opined that many
wanted posters look like Jessie Jackson. The same Limbaugh laughed when
a caller said that Obama looks like Curious George. He then tried to
claim he never heard of that character but never explained how he could
think the comparison was funny if he had never heard of the cartoon.

This is Limbaugh who was upset when the press covered the underage
drinking of the Bush girls saying presidents children were off limits
yet called Chelsea Clinton the "White House dog".

Shit, Rush was abusing those 'pain' drugs like any herion junky would

Yea, he had his show on cable tv, as if one needs to see a radio talk
show host talking, boring as Imus. But
he quite often nodded out right on his short lived cable show, like
heroin users do. Talk and nodd out then pick up on another sentence.

Pathetic looking.

His hypocrisy is born of being strictly anti-liberal, making it as
liberals are the scourge of drug use and the problems in the country,
and Republicans aren't drug users. I've know many Republicans who use
drugs. Heck even the well know meth preacher that had a line to the
white house. Heck my brother who whines that I am a tree hugger
liberal, he has done cocaine for years, smoke pot. He says he doesn't
do drugs, because I am a left-winger, and he cannot possible be like
the liberals, because they are the drug users that his idiot hero
Limbaugh tells him about.

When right-wingers put themselves on an even political level, to be
truthful with themselves, and the Democrats,
they will have my complete approval. But for not it's still the same
ol same ol denial and Democrat blame game.

Shit even back then I always accused him of doing opiates. For what
it's worth if his hearing was damaged by his opiate use, then it's
fair to say it wasn't from a short term 'safe' doctor prescribed,
directed, and followed use.

I hate Limbaugh but I wouldn't wish an addiction and drug dependence
on him. He could die and a may get a slightly giddy but no addiction.
In life we should function to our best abilities and drugs take many
of those
abilities away.

Of course there is a certain medical usefulness to pain killers, which
I used in limited doses. And, in fact, limited doses is exactly when
they are the most effective. Since I didn't drink, and I didn't smoke
pot or snort cocaine, very small doses were very effective in my
case. This meant that I didn't have to deal with the side effects,
which are a bitch and a half.. However, people who insist on
regularly using recreational drugs find that the pain killers aren't
all that effective when they're needed. While the "interesting"
people in surrounding rooms coughed, cringed, and cursed God, I
listened to old radio shows on my IPOD and had as pleasant a time as
possible.

Of course there was. But the Great Depression started
in 1929, not 1920 as you claimed. And the president was
Republican Herbert Hoover, not Wilson.

Maybe you should stick to posts about current events, since
history is clearly not your strong suit..........;)

Woodrow Wilson left office in 1921, not 1920.

"On March 4, 1921, President Woodrow Wilson relinquished the office of
the presidency to Ohio Senator Warren G. Harding. The state of the
union was poor. "With the exception of Lincoln, probably no president
in our national history has taken office with as pressing a burden of
unresolved questions." Those were the words of the Nation of February
1921. The national economy was in the depths of a depression with an
unemployment rate of 20% after a runaway inflation. "

Today, as a matter of fact. Since you've establish that personal
questions are acceptable, I have a few for you.

How often do you have a drink containing alcohol?

How many drinks containing alcohol do you have on a typical day when
you are drinking?

Thinking about a typical week, on how many days do you have at least
one alcoholic drink?

How often do you have six or more drinks on one occasion?

Thinking about the past year, what is the greatest number of drinks
you've had on any one occasion?

How often during the last year have you found that you were not able
to stop drinking once you had started?

How often during the last year have you failed to do what was normally
expected from you because of drinking?

How often during the last year have you needed a first drink in the
morning to get yourself going after a heavy drinking session?

How often during the last year have you had a feeling of guilt or
remorse after drinking?

How often during the last year have you been unable to remember what
happened the night before because you had been drinking?

Have you or someone else been injured as a result of your drinking?

Has a relative or friend or a doctor or other health worker been
concerned about your drinking or suggested you cut down?

What dung heap would you like your prematurely aged body thrown on?

Lol... I actually didn't party much in college... kinda hard to be a
distance runner humgover. I did party SOME though... like most people.
You are the one bragging about how you didn't party at all... which
reminded me of the art geeks at my college. Thus the reason I brought
the analogy up. OTOH... you like to bring up my partying when people
aren't even discussing partying. Guess that ones between you and your

Maybe two six packs in my life.

I've had two friends who died from that kind of "fun". Here's hoping
that you make it an third. As for fun, when I worked for Marvel Comic
in the Bullpen, the Editor In Chief, Jim Shooter, publicly proclaimed
that "some people are born two drinks light, some two drinks over.
Bill Vallely is a classic example of the latter."

Let me explain what almost certainly happened in regards to the art
students. First of, almost ALL art student's drink and take drugs -
it comes with the territory. Artists love to party, and tend to have
great bashes which involve live music, great food, hot artist chicks
and good times.

The reason why you are under the impression that they didn't party is
because they didn't invite you. And why would they? You were/are a
foul mouthed, bitter, stupid, self-important, condescending business
major from an unimportant college who felt obliged to tell artists
that their chosen career was a waste of time. I can't understand why
they laughed behind your back.

Being snubbed is painful. Being snubbed when you deserve worth is
more so.

Nope.. I didn't start partying very hard until after college. Like I

Only because you think it bothers me. It doesn't. I already know the

angry, sanctimonious asshole that thinks writing comic books and a star
trek episode makes him something something.

LOL!!! Angry little boys get no toys, bubs. You are fooling
yourself... you are not a "Christian" by any stretch of the
imagination... your words in this very thread say all we need to know.

You are just an angry sanctimonious asshole on Usenet.

Uhh no... I went to backwards ass religious college where NONE of the
art-geeks like you partied... it's why when you mentioned it that the
light-bulb went off.. and now you are all mad about it. As if we hadn't
seen that before.

lol...

Who would Jesus make feel like shit? You are quite the "Xian" there
bubs.. I do love pulling your strings though... as an atheist with a
conscious I should back off a bit. This is like pulling wings from
flies.

Well as long as you are going to make this a dick-contest, this is one I
KNOW I can win! Hard-bodied, clever and witty kinda makes things easy I
guess. My birthdays are actually kind of fun at my bar... I just had
one Tuesday... you should have seen the wide-mouths when I tell them I
am 48. I'm actually staring to enjoy it. My body fat is prolly still
under 10%... or I wouldn't still be beating 20+ year olds in AA
volleyball!

Now tell me about the sober comic book writers bodies bubs... lol!

Then you won't mind me pointing out that you're a dismal failure,
again and again and again and again and again.

Lenny Bruce celebrated his 40th birthday with a hard night of drugs,
sex and jazz. A friend, shocked by Lenny's aggressive partying,
suggested that the comedian might want to slow down a little.
"You're 40, man. Aren't you afraid of dying?" the friend asked.

Lenny shook his head slowly and sadly replied "no, man. There's
nothing more ridiculous than a middle-aged hipster."

Several months later, Lenny was found dead on the toilet with a
needle
in his arm.

you got partiers.

A LOT of people. Hypocrites and Philistines for one. Atheists who

Why are you making this thread about me? I did not make a knee jerk
statement like some liberal actors said if George W. Bush was elected.
>
"astroncer" said, "To top it off Obama will serve the country like a
all American hero, what does bush and crap limbaugh have to offer?"

American hero? What a pile of crap. Was Barack Hussein was heroic when
he voted against live babies surviving a failed abortion in Illinois?
Was Barack Hussein heroic when he voted against harsher penalties for
gangbangers in Illinois? When Barack Hussein was an Illinois senator,
on the tough votes he voted "present" instead of "aye" or "nay". That
sure wasn't heroic, it was rather wimpy.

First of all, it was asked what Limbaugh had to offer. Limbaugh
doesn't have to offer anything. He isn't running for president. Barack
Hussein hasn't brought anything to the table except income
redistribution, Socialism. You must like Socialism. That's a true
liberal.

Why did you ignore my response to your statement,
"It is always fun to listen to Rush dole out advice on
how to raise children, the importance of staying married,
etc."

What advice has he given do you not agree with?

Are you being as heroic as the Marxist Barack Hussein? I guess
chivalry could be considered heroic since astroncer couldn't respond
to my reply to him.

So, let's see where we are. You've insisted that I'm boring because
I'm not getting hammered regularly - now you're a guy who has a single
beer once a year.

Actually I still do some painting. A DC GF said one of my paintings I
did in college should be hanging in a gallery there... kinda cool
compliment I thought... especially since I spent like 2 hours painting
it.

Thats the second time now..

You want me dead because why exactly? My words hurt your widdle
feelings?

Grow up Bill. Usenet is not for wimps. If you can't handle people
calling you a art-geek, and finding it unbelievably pathetic that you
haven't partied "too much" even once in your life... stop posting on
Usenet.

Cheese and Crackers, you're an idiot.

If you believe in Karma, then you most certainly believe in Heaven and
Hell. Classic Hindu states that Karma rewards and punishments come,
not in this life, not in the next life, but in the waiting rooms
between lives. Virtuous souls wait in paradise, nasty drunks who
squander their lives playing volleyball have their limbs ripped off
and eaten before them.

Of course, if you subscribe to the utterly inaccurate Susan Sarandon
pop culture "My Name Is Earl" school of Karma, then you no doubt
agree that it's acceptable, (indeed, virtuous) to insult the
handicapped, the poor, and the alcoholic because they deserve their
suffering.

Or do you believe in a more personal form of Karma - that the universe
gives Gary a pass while punishing those you don't like? A very
popular belief among drunken, aggressive louts.

Which got him killed... which is why the early Xians had to go to the
extremes of making up an obvious fairy tale about how he ressurected

That's not bullying. That's dealing with bullies. If I let you get

I rest my case. The only tenant of Xianity that you follow is the
cherry-picked passage above... all the while ignoring your own clear
hypocrisy (not turning the other cheek, etc)... which in turn makes you
an even BIGGER hypocrite than I can ever hope to be.

You epitomize the "cafeteria Christians" I dispise. You are no
different than any of the terrorists that justify their behavior in the
name of Allah. Just that you haven't killed anyone yet... you just wish
your enemies death.

All of this is true. I also said he had a lot of good words like the
Sermon on the Mount (which you basically flipped off as garbage).

You don't get to cherry pick the shit you like about your religion,
little boy... and ignore the rest. He did have a lot of human traits,
he was a failed prophet (his main message was the soon coming of the
Kingdom of God... where is it?) and he did get killed because he had a
temper tantrum. The sadistic god is in reference to all the evil in the
world that he himself created.

All of this is completely factual. Sorry.

about hypocrites (which makes you even WORSE in your saviors eyes).

Why don't you lift a finger to exhibit a more Christlike attitude on
Usenet before you judge MY behavior.. we can go from there.

Otherwise you are simply a bigger hypocrite (which Jesus dispised.. you
just pointed it out yourself.) Do you enjoy the holes you dig here?

You must.. because you keep digging. The first rule of holes and all.

Yeah, I actually happen to believe that there is a massive difference
between taunting a jerk with wishes of death and actually killing
folks. Of course, I'm burdened with all of my neurons and glial cells
still working - sadly, I lack those legendary, razor sharp "wet brain"

Nope. The crux of the argument presented above is that your insult
was minor and good natured, and I grossly overreached.

This, of course, is a crude lie from a vulgar, drunken, reprobate.

The truth is that your insults have attacked my religion, my life
work, and anything else you could dream up that would be as painful as
you could imagine. The returned compliments were well deserved, and
remarkable in their restraint.

Yeah, about that. Before you can "rest" your case, you actually have
to make one. You have to present examples of my demanding you stop
attacking my religion while continue to attack yours. You have to
show me doing something that I demand other's not.

"Cherry picked"? You want more quotes of Jesus tearing apart
hypocrites? There are LOTS of those. He also physically assaulted
the money changers at His temple. He also damned a fig tree, and let
me tell you, that was one sorry fig tree. He also throws people into
the fiery pits of Hell. In short, if you think of Jesus as someone
you can walk all over, think again.
.

> all the while ignoring your own clear
> hypocrisy (not turning the other cheek, etc)... >

.
Who said that I never turned the other cheek with you? You were
pointlessly offensive several times, and I gave you a pass far longer
than I should have. Eventually, you went too far one time too many,
and I started firing back.

Jesus did, indeed, say to turn the other cheek - but He picked a body
part which there is only one extra. He didn't say "turn the grains of
sand".
.

< which in turn makes you
> an even BIGGER hypocrite than I can ever hope to be.

.
Because people with standards are worse than people without standards?

.
> You epitomize the "cafeteria Christians" I dispise. >

.
Let me tell you what I despise - people with no personal standards
lying about the beliefs of others to falsely turn them into
hypocrites. What could be more cowardly? What can be more self
serving? What could be more intellectually sinful? "I admit that I
don't believe in anything (glug glug glug) but you say that you're
perfect and have never sinned (snort snort snort) and all the while
you insult me after I insult you (fornicate fornicate fornicate)."
Your soul resembles Lewis Carrol's Red Queen had that character become
a 9th Century Pope and converted to Atheism while being a belligerent
drunk.

You hate that I don't live up to your idea of Christianity, even
though you have no idea of what that religion is all about. And you
are insulted that I don't live up to your perfect standard, while you
glory in having no standards whatsoever, other than chugging
boilermakers on wet-tee shirt Tuesday.

It's possible that on Judgement Day, I might be called on these notes
that we've exchanged. And if I'm asked why I wrote them, I can look
my Creator square in the eye and say "I felt that if I allowed Gary to
get away with his attacks unchallenged, that would only have
encouraged him to continue to abuse others."

What will you say when you're asked why you demanded others live up to
standards you yourself reject?
.

So, a flip remark is the same as killing people. Yeah, you're firing
on all cylinders.

Oh, you went for a two-fer: you rambled about handles *and* ran
away...

Nothing in your post addresses your (I'll be charitable here)
*misstatement* above nor your lack of cite for the second quote you
attributed to Limbaugh.

If you're making the claim I am or have used the names below, put up

challenged you on the same nonsense.

So, what have we learned - that when you're caught red-handed lying
through your teeth, it doesn't slow you down for a moment. Not a
moment's regret, not an apology - just double up on accusing me of
moral failings.
.

Oh, so you like the Sermon on the Mount, do you? What did Jesus say
in that Sermon about people who lecture other's about their behavior,
without obeying that code themselves?

"But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they
preach. 4 They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but
they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them."
.
<.... (which you basically flipped off as garbage).>

What do you know - yet another casual lie. I said no such thing. Tell
me, do you even know when you're lying anymore? Is it that you don't
know, or don't care? Or is it that you don't know, but wouldn't care
if you did?

You don't understand Christianity - you don't understand Karma. I'm

the theme song to "The Facts of Life."

Cherry pick, you say? Jesus attacked the Pahasees 87 times. In one
Matthew sermon, Jesus tore into:

1) Hypocrites (seven times) - Mt 23:13-15,23,25,27,29
2) Fools (twice) and blind guides (five times) - Mt 23:16-17,19,
24,26
3) Serpents, brood of vipers (once) - Mt 23:33
.

So, what you're betting the eternal farm is that a person who turns
his back on God is on better footing than a person who makes the
commitments, and stumbles along the way.

Lots of luck with that one.

Wow, you make it sound tempting.

Really? And in what way am I a hypocrite? And this time, provide
examples of my demanding of you what I'm not willing to do myself.

You bring up shit that I said in the past and apply it to what is
happening now? And what is Xian about this... do tell? What is Xian
about ANYTHING you do on Usenet? You lie, you spin, you exaggerate, you
get angry, you lie some more, you are a complete hypocrite with nearly
every post... and yet you think you are above me and a Xian.

Sowwy angry-one... it isn't so.

He got pissed a fig tree for not bearing fruit WHEN IT WAS OUT OF
SEASON.. and this is a person you worship??? He seems more like an
angry beligerent crazy person. Oh wait... maybe now it makes sense.

Never mind Little Angry One...

You are not a hypocrite... you are JUST LIKE YOUR SAVIOR....

Carry on!
