The tribute to the Greatest President of all time last night, has the
fatman boiling. The only thing he has said that wasn't much of a lie was
that you wouldn't find the people making such good tributes to Ronald
Reagan. The fatman was trying to criticize Gore about trigger locks and his
wanting if for every new gun sold. The fatman then claimed that Bushlight
had already promised that. Another lie about Bushlight by the fatman, Rush
Dumbaugh. The fatman also claimed that if an election were held today,
Bushlight would win. That is about as big a joke as the fatman's wife.

Two weeks ago, Bush made them freely available to all of Texas, and
suggested the same for the nation. Far better than requiring the purchase
for every gun, which is simply a $12 poll tax on the right to bear arms.
Doesn't make sense anyhow - you only need one safe to hold many guns.

There's absolutely no doubt that Bush would win today. The question is
will he win in Nov, after several debates where he has to speak on his
feet, not from a script. Personally I think Gore is running himself out
of the race, both for my vote, and for the public. His bulldog approach
makes him seem pathetic.

Rather than wailing about the issue as the liberals do, Bush has taken the
step of giving out your precious trigger locks in the state of Texas. Are
the Democrat governors going to do the same, or just bitch about it and try
to force the issue thru their legislatures? If you really think trigger
locks are going to save lives, you ought to be pressuring your state to
start giving away the locks as well. I won't be holding my breath, since
it's a handy 'campain' issue, and actually solving problems isn't what
liberals are about.

No, they don't. But if you do, point it out and provide a reference. Because
if you go tho the IRS, they show that tax rates went down across the board.
They also show that the actual revenues paid by the wealthy went up, and
that the wealthy paid a greater percentage of income taxes than ever before.
So only a "retard" could conclude otherwise.

Wow. When is the 60 Minutes or 20/20 profile going to air? There were no
kids killed in our schools last year, in fact there were none killed in
school in our whole state! I didn't realize that Maryland was a lot like
Beirut. I'll remember that when planning a vacation. Comumbine was in the
paper non-stop for a month, the 1st grader shot this year was there for a
week or two, every gun death get's publicized you would think that someone
would recognize the name of your school and put a wreath there. By the way,

If they are required, then the people that have weapons, obtained illegally,
will just be breaking one more law won't they? The only thing a trigger lock
may do, is save the 50 or so kids killed through accidental weapon
discharges. it won't save the other 50 or so that are killed in accidental
mishaps (hunting, etc).

Who's upset? Not me. If Bush does win, it is because he has a weak opponent,
not because he's a fantastic candidate. It's like 96, you've got Clinton vs.
the fuddy-duddy Bob Dole. Bush will not have coattails, and with extremists
Delay and Armey running the House, they are destined to lose seats (as they
have the previous 2 election cycles). The GOFP has so many seats do defend in
the Senate (not to mention many of them are freshmen who thought the '94
election was carte blanch to shoot their mouths off; see Rick Santorum) that
even McConnel has accepted the speculation they will lose seats there too.
Can you not detect the slightest bit of hypocrisy when you decry polls and then

But bitchin's fun... Watching TV is fun too... it tells me what I'm
supposed to believe! In fact, even though less people die at amusement
parks than are struck by lightning each year - I saw this story on Dateline
about dangerous risky (like anything Bush says) rides... and they told me

board, then the tax system becomes less progressive and less fair to

to invest. They got much richer and the working class got their
services cut and a more unprogressive tax system.
But chiefly I remember the big Reagan recession in 1980 was it? Which
was so bad I began to think we might be in for the big one. As well as
the two recessions under Bush.
The Reagan recession was especially interesting since I was living in
NYC at the time. NYC used to have bums. They lived in the Bowery.
After Reagan, we had homeless, hundreds of thousands of them, in a
matter of about three, four months and they FLOODED the streets.
Thanks to Reagan, everyone in NYC got to know the families living in
their subway stop by name. It took better than ten years to repair the
damage.

How is that? If your taxes were 10% last year and mine were 20% last year
and we each get a 10% cut, each of our taxes went down 10%. You are now
paying 9% and I'm paying 18% - how is that less fair to you?

The point is, so? Who cares who got richer, it didn't mean that someone got
poorer? One dollar gained by a wealthy person does not mean that someone had
to lose a dollar. Besides if you look into the stats you will find economic
gains across all income levels. In fact, the biggest reductions for taxes
were in the lower 40%. What looting of the economy? Rather than state an
opinion as fact, back it up with something or state that "In your opinion
the rich looted the economy", because that is not a fact..

Please state what services were cut. If you look at the record, not one
service for the poor was cut. Not one service for the poor was funded for
less than the year before.

Hmmmm, since the election was in November of 1980 and Reagan took office in
January of 1981 - that would make it Carter's recession. It took almost 2
years of Reagan's policies and Volcker's controls to right the ship. Bush
only had one recession, 1991-1992.

The flop houses in the Bowery and elsewhere ("skid row") were razed in
the 60's in the name of compassion. That you chose to ignore the
homeless prior to 1980 is not a reflection on Reagan.

to turn, and I've stated before it didn't start to turn until late 82 early
83, by the time of the 84 election it was humming. We rewarded Reagan with

$2.6 million and his taxes only varied $1000 that's not much of a cut (less
than 1/2 of 1% or so) - that could be a rounding error. It certainly wasn't
a tax cut for your cousin.

Lantz, name the CEO. Bill Gates made less than $5 million last year, spread
among all of the taxpayers that's enough to raise average salaries by 4
cents. Take Eisner's salary, that's enough to raise average salaries by .03
cents. I'll let you use the year Eisner excercised his options and collected
$500 million in a year (although his options had vested over a 10 year term)
and that raises the averages by about $4 per year. By the way, I have never
talked average salary - I've used median salary (50% make more, 50% make
less) it tends to wipe out the extremes, someone making $1 per year counts
as much on the low side as someone drawing $250 million on the other.
Again for a supposed CFO you don't understand financial data. There is no
74% making under 21K, the IRS has no data to back up your claim.

There are no Republican figures that show 75% make below $20,000. You'll
have to show me how my figures give you 74% make under $21K, because even if
I applied your tortured mathematics the number is less than 40%.

Lantz, try this on moron. If someone's take home is $2.6 million, their
marginal tax rate is 39% and more than 90% of their total income is above
the top marginal rate so everything below that is a rounding error. So
before any other taxes are leveled the salary needed to provide $2.6 million
after taxes is roughly $4.4 million. Add in state, city, and SS taxes and
you get approximately $5.8 million. Anyone making that kind of money will
also be putting some away (both pre and post tax) the average will be
somewhere between 15-25%. This leads to just about $8 million.
That said, Bud is a bigger liar than you are. The "fact" that he's got a
cousin netting $2.6 million per year is as likely as his claim that there
were 50 shootings at his school last year.............

you've uttered this and not once have you provided a fact to back it up
despite REPEATED questions from numerous people to provide a fact.
"75% of the people in this country make less than $20,000" - not one
single fact to back up this assertion, the DOL says it's not true, the IRS
shows it isn't true, yet you spread this lie like butter on toast.
"The greedy Congress only pays SS a return of 2% on the money in the
SS trust fund while rich people and fat cat bankers make 9% and are allowed
to take 19% from the working people in interest on their money" - you made
this up and weren't even close as the IRS shows that it got 9% last year and
has gotten the same rate as everyone else on the bonds issued.
You insisted how the line workers at the Chrysler plant in Toledo
couldn't afford the cars they build, yet union and Chrysler reports released
during contract negotiations showed that the AVERAGE Chrysler line worker
was pulling in $70K.
You rant on about any layoffs and neglect to point out that those 300
or so jobs were a drain on the rest of the company. You don't look at the
fiscal realities that led the company to make that move because you know you
don't have the facts or the skills to interpret the facts.
Those are the ones I remember off of the top of my head, there have
been many others.
I am starting to lean with the folks that believe Frawley IS you. You
have just defended someone that has stated the over "50 people were gunned
down at my school last year, but you wouldn't know that moron" as someone
that tells the truth. I can see why you are enamored with Clinton as your
role model. You are a case, a loon, a jealous loser, and I pity you as you
have to face the story that is your life and rewrite chapter after chapter

Since you have chosen to not repudiate anything I said, then I will take it
that you are admitting that you stated them. If you find something that I
have stated you said as incorrect please correct the grammer or context. Now
I ask for nearly ANYONE to show me the error of my ways. If I have stated

Lantz, I would encourage anyone that knows anything about my dismissal to
contribute here. People that are fired don't generally walk off with a
SERIES of checks for 6 months that paid a full salary over that time (and
receive bonuses). People that are fired don't USUALLY get asked back within
a few weeks to go to Hong Kong to do a final deed for the company AND get
paid for that, while drawing their separation pay. So you still don't have
that one right.

Separation pay, as you call it, is not given our when you quit. You may
be in denial, but they didn't want you in their organization any longer.
And only big fools would go back to work for them a few weeks later for some
more peanuts. If they still want you they don't pay you separation pay how

Again almost any paragraph you write is a lie, as the above sentence is,
the ones above that and the ones below that. An many people are aware of
the facts that I quoted and they have been in the news, only the ignorant
would be fooled by the way you distort it. And most people with an IQ
understand how stupid you are to try and justify the greed of those that are
socking it to you and firing you.
