George Carlin And Ann Coulter Lined Up For "Tonight Show"

June 13, 2006 12:15 p.m. EST

All Headline News

Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - Jay Leno might have gotten in over his head
with the choice of guests for Wednesday night's "Tonight Show" - he may
have to mediate a nasty verbal battle between anti-establishment
comedian George Carlin and outspoken conservative Ann Coulter.

Coulter, author of "Godless: The Church of Liberalism" has offended
scores of people with comments in her new book attacking four New
Jersey widows who advocated an independent commission to investigate
the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in which their
husbands died.

The AP reports that in her book Coulter accuses the women of "reveling
in their status as celebrities ... I've never seen people enjoying
their husbands' deaths so much."

The AP writes that the meeting of Carlin, a staunch atheist, and the
"Godless" author "could produce serious fireworks."

Good. I've never seen Coulter win any argument she's been in. I hope
Carlin puts a pickax in her head.

You have a hard time finding the bathroom... so this is no big
surprise.

I hope Carlin puts a pickax in her head.

Could be a blood bath. Carlin has a fast wit and could easily mop the
floor with Ann the cunt.

That's your opinion, and I really don't care, but George Carlin just
might be one of the brightest, wittiest, men this country has ever
produced. Had he not preferred to attack the establishment instead
of joining it, he would likely be President by now.

Hm. I see where he quoted a previous poster and you. I'm honestly
confused as to what you think is attributed to you that isn't. The
indentation (< in Google) shows what you said, which is a smattering
compared to what he quoted. I didn't feel you said what you seem to
THINK he quoted you as saying. In short, don't sweat it, we know what
you DID say and what you didn't, and won't blame you for things you
didn't.

Heck, the stuff you SAY is bad enough :0)

No, I really am. I saw George do standup back in the 60s and 70s,
before he decided that he had to curse a lot to make his point. The
man is, frankly, brilliant. He tends to stay away from political stuff
but when he did (see: Nixon) he was hysterical.

She learned it from Yawn insHannity, all the 'Puke pundits and strategists do
it, it's old-school Yawn...if you notice 'Pukes rarely put someone out to
speak for the CONs side that cannot out-raise their voice in a debase, err,
debate on TV or cable...

'Pukes do it because they think it's some kind of status symbol they can

Because in most states you get to vote in the primariy election that select
the party's candidates.

You don't select a party you don't vote.

Shrug. That's fine. In my newsreader, it shows your comments as in a
different thread. Your mileage may vary and all that. Still, I know
what
you said and what you didn't.

You deserved it, and you know it.

If not more masculine.

Oh EW. Please. Do NOT project your fantasies on me, Mort.

I'll stick with my girlfriend, thanks.

Uhhhh.... "boyfriend", Matt. C'mon... you know that's a non-starter.

See... stupid stuff like that is beneath you.

Great. I don't back off of what I said... but I will not embrace
something that I didn't.

And you, Matt?

OBTW... I caught the show last night-- GREAT SHOT... for both of them.
George Carlin is a poetic and comic genius (presidential material,
doubtful). He didn't miss a beat and went on way longer than I think
whoever the "comic of the moment" could do.

Ann got off a coupla good ones too... at least one thought I never
contemplated -- she's calling liberals "Godless", yet the only thing
they complain about are "The Jersey Girls".

Interesting thought indeed.

I guess it was agreed to that neither one of them would bait or argue
with the other... although it seemed to me like Ann wouldn't have
backed down if challenged.

What the fuck was that "Limey" bimbo moaning about anyway? Thank God
Leno fucked up her name.

<LOL>
