Can anyone imagine the rightwing reaction if a teenage
Chelsea Clinton got pregant and the Clintons welcomed the
boy who knocked her into the family and showed him off like
he accomplished something?

"Typical Democratic immorality!" and "This is the sort
of godless hedonism the Radical Left wants to force on
America!", the rightwingers would be scream into their
microphones.

But since a Republican is involved, it is a "private"
matter, one that involves "personal decisions" that we
should all "pray for".

Could Republicans be bigger hypocrites if they tried?

That wouldn't have happened. Chelsea would have been
delivered to one of the Clintons' supporters in the abrtion industry,
the pregnancy would have been "choiced" and you would not
have known of it.

Imagine, a government that neither forces you to have limited numbers
of children like I believe China does, yet doesn't force you to have
children like the hitler government did, I feel ok about it all.

So in your world the simple fact that an infant is seperated from the
outside world by a few inches of its mothers body renders it something
that can be destroyed at any time for any reason. You are aware that
there are many laws on the books in this country that describe the
killing of an unborn child as a homicide?

Hey Kurtie Baby. There is ONE simple fact you ignore. Life begins at
conception. Several of the world's religions beleive that the "Soul"
is implanted into the human being at the time of conception. An
abortion is murder, plain & simple.

Religious belief, and a new one. The Catholic church used to believe
the soul didn't enter the body until "quickening" (around 20 weeks).

But not Christianity, or Judaism. Scripturally, both rely on the first

You know, everyone here that says we don't know when lfe begins, when
a "fetus" becomes a human life, all of you are exactly right. I
don't know, you don't know, no one knows. And yet even though you
don't know, you continue to claim there is absolutely nothing wrong
with killing it. You have no idea if the child/ fetus, pick one, is a
human being. Many researchers claim that the child can feel pain as
early as 6 weeks after conception. Others say 20 weeks, other longer,
the point is even on the issue of fetal pain no one knows.

In the face of this uncertainty you people still insist that killing
it is hunky dory, no problem sure it a minor inconvenience to carry
this child to term, so lets burn it to death with salt water, or
dismember it into pieces so we can vacuum it out, or kill it after
being completey born except for the babies head, then jam a sharp
object into its brain.

What can we call people like this except monsters? How are you any
different than someone who shoots a gun down a busy street, not
knowing if you may kill someone? Your pictures belong next to
pictures of the soldiers of the Japanese armies during the Rape of
Nanking holding babies aloft on bayonet point.

HOW can you possibly justify an abortion when NO ONE KNOWS what you
are killing? Does it give you pleasure to think of an unborn being
torn aprt in agony?

Monsters. Thats the only conclusion I can reach. It has nothing to do
with religion Even athiests have some morals.

All of you on here that say we don't know when life begins are
absolutely right. You don't know I don't know, no one knows. And yet
even though you don't know when the fetus/child, pick one, becomes a
human life, acquires a soul, whatever your definition of life is, you
feel no remorse at all about killing it.

Some researchers claim the unborn can feel pain at 6 weeks, others
claim 20, other later, but again NO ONE knows. And yet you see
nothing at all wrong with buring the baby to death with salt water,
chopping it to bits and sucking it out or even delivering the entire
baby and then killing it with a sharp instrument jabbed into the
brain. How can we consider you to be anything other than a monster?

You dont know if the unborn is suffering unimaginable pain during an
abortion yet you dont even flinch and almost seem to celebrate any
abortion that occurs.

Your pictures belong on a wall somewhere next to the pictures of the
soldiers of the Japanese army during the Rape of Nanking holding

Alim, I can appreciate your position on this issue. I think the
fundamental disconnect occurs when you assume that pro choice people
take abortion so lightly. I've raised my children to never consider
an abortion and they've raised their children the same way. No one in
my family has ever had an abortion. But it's not for the church or
the federal government (my, has that line gotten ever blurrier) to
decide. If my family ever experienced the tragedy of one of our girls
being raped, and she got pregnant as a result of that rape, and she
chose not to carry that child to term, but the church or the federal
government came to my house to try to make her have that child, they
had better be prepared to take on heavy casualties. It would be a
heartbreaking decision but it would be HER decision. It would be
between her and God. Neither you nor the church, nor the government
have any right to interfere.
