NRA = "Because the police can't be everywhere"
After the Connecticut shootings:
Decent human beings: "well?"
NRA = "Station armed police everywhere(*)"
* (because you never know when/where one of ours will go crazy and of
course we will not countenance any limit on the firepower he would
have on hand when he decides to go out in a blaze of "glory" ).

Meanwhile those that commit the vast overwhelming majority of gun
crimes in the nation, namely street gang thugs, continue on without
any notice at all from you and they certainly have had no influence
from the NRA. Unless you now want to argue that a lot of those
"nameless NRA members" happen to be Hispanic or Black.
You can't "regulate" their guns nor can you keep them from acquiring
whatever firepower they have enough cash in hand to afford.
Thus you can't use them for arguing your stupid assed political

leaked by someone within the investigating police department as we
always hear about a perpetrators affiliations after such a crime.
With a membership of well over 4 million the crime rate within the
membership is virtually ZERO.
