Fascism is already here, friend. The Nazi Libs are in place.
Just like Hitler's bunch they use LIES & BIGGER LIES to advance their
agenda. They control the media, education, courts & politics.
And they have Millions totally deceived they are benevolent. (just like the

There aren't many liberals in positions of national political power. I
can't think of any Nazi liberals at all.

I shall forward your message to Rupert Murdoch, he'll probably get a
chuckle at being called a liberal.

So if i defend the flag, my right to worship christ, and free markets then i
am a fascist? Then going by that conclusion we have been living in a
fascist state for 230 years. Or.......you and your liberal friends are
living on Fantasy Island.

You're confused. It is the Jews who use the "Big Lie Technique." If you knew
anything, you'd know that Hitler didn't advocate any such thing, but merely
observed that it was the Jews who told big lies. The fact that so many people
actually believe that Hitler "invented" this technique proves it. The very
people who have repeated that falsehood are the same ones who use it - the
Jews!

Tave you ever looked at who runs the major media? Jews. Who's in charge of the
economy? The Fed, right? And who runs the Fed? Alan GREENSPAN, a Jew. Who's the
Secretary of State? Madeline Albright, a Jew! Did you know Clinton's entire
National Security Council is also Jewish? How about Secretary of Defense?
William COHEN, another Jew. The list goes on and on. Even Clinton gets his
Presidential twanger sucked by a Jew, Monica Lewinsky! We have Jews coming out
our ears. And remember, they're only about three percent of the population!

The Jews run this country and you don't even know it. That's proof positive of
the Jew's "Big Lie Technique" in action! You think the "Nazis" run it. Believe
me if the Nazis did run the country, that piece of lying, murdering filth
wouldn't be in the White House. He'd be in jail doing life!

Dear sir,
Here's a short description of what's happening in East Timor/Timor Lorosae:
The people in East Timor has voted for independence from Indonesia.
The registration of eligible voters surprassed all the UN's
expectations;
98.6% of the registered voters cast their vote on 30 August;
78.5% of the voters rejected the autonomy deal proposed by Jakarta,
thereby opting for independence;
21.5% voted in favour of autonomy within Indonesia.
The results announced by Kofi Annan were considered to be fair by the
government of Indonesia.
The day after the ballot, the militias recommenced their rampage of
terrorism and killing:
- Journalists, humanitation organisations, and even the Australian
Ambassador on a visit to Jakarta, were all attacked, threatened, and
forced to leave the territory;
- Militias attacked and burned down the headquarters of the
International Red Cross, and the residence of Nobel Prize winner
Bishop Belo, in which over 5,000 people were sheltering at the time.
The Bishop went into exile; the refugees at his residence were loaded
onto military trucks and taken away by soldiers. The residence of the
territory's second Bishop, Mnsgr. Nascimento, was also attacked. The
Bishop was wounded in the attack and is now held by the police. Much
of the population is now hiding in the mountains;
- UNAMET's headquarters, where thousands of refugees are sheltering, was
besieged by militias until the Mission itself has been forced to
consider withdrawing. Wich is about to occur in the next few hours;
- There are many reports of mass summary executions: 200 people shot on
the beach at Liquiça, 100 killed in the church in Suai. At the moment,
it is impossible to confirm these reports;
- A UN spokesman in Dili said that, before the ballot, UNAMET had been
aware of a plan by Indonesia to deport between 200,000 and 300,000
Timorese. That plan is now being put into operation.

Indonesia refuses to allow an international peace force into East Timor,
has decreted martial law througout the territory, continues to deploy
more troops there, and has cut off all public services, including the
water supply.

Amnesty International has always fought for Human Rights. We also know that
the East Timor/Timor Lorosae issue is not new to AI, but we're asking you to
take on an extra dedication to spread though out the international community
the sad news of violence that is occurring right now in East Timor/Timor
Lorosae. Take local actions that you consider to be useful in creating an
international awareness regarding East Timor/Timor Lorosae. Join us in our
outrage towards a massive killing of innocent people whose right to freedom
is internationally recognized.

Help us stop the hypocrisy.

Instead of lamenting about what you may have thought about what the poster
wrote, let me tell you what I think.
He either meant one of the following
1. Since a lot of americal believes in most or all of these ideals, we are
already a fascist state.
2. If someone believes in all three or most of these ideals, he/she is a
fascist.
This isn't hard to comprehend. Feel free next time to post what your

What people forget is that capitalism has traditionally been opposed by
conservatives, and the right-wing is as skeptical of capitalism as the
left wing. Liberalism (belief in individual liberties, Locke, etc.) tends
to be the most pro-capitalist ideology, but its hard to place it on a left
right scale. My view:

Far right: Centralized government designed to protect a country's
traditions, social values and norms. Strong nationalism, belief in elite
and church rights. Individual liberties are granted, only in so far as
they don't go against the interest of the state. Accepts market economy
as long as it works in favor of the state (but government doesn't own the
means of production, except perhaps in wartime). Skeptical of free trade.

Far left: Centralized government, designed to implement an economic
system designed to achieve what they consider perfect justice.
Anti-nationalist, focused on ending unequal distribution of resources.
Individual liberties are granted, only in so far as they don't interfer
with the ability of the government to achieve its goal of trying to create
a perfect system. Government owns everything, no market economy.

Liberal (where does this fit?): limited government, focus primarily on
individual liberties, a market economy, and free trade. Disagreements
about the nature of these liberties and needed regulations are handled
democratically. (The term "liberal democracy" has replaced the old term
"Republic" as describing the system where government is limited by a
constitution, but beyond that leaves decisions to the voters).

Grey areas: Social Democrats -- believe capitalism is unjust, but
recognize that individual liberties are necessary. Modern conservatives
-- believe elite rule is wrong and individual liberties are necessary, but
believe government should enforce social norms and customs (usually
religion, etc.) Left libertarians (Greens, etc.): oppose centralized
governmental power, but skeptical of capitalism's ability to centralize
power. Authoritarians: grab power, often accept capitalism, but deny
individual liberties.

No left right schema fits this all. Certainly, one can't glibly say that
just because a government is oppressive its the same ideology!
