Sky Blue

"Sky Blue", saw it Wednsday night as part of the Jameson Film Festival
in Dublin, you gotta love a film festival sponsored by whiskey.

Possibly the most beautiful and stylish Anime film I have ever seen,
the storyline lets it down a bit though. All I knew going in was that
it was a Korean/Japanese Anime film. Boy was I happy when I left.

I could give you a plot summary but it doesn't really matter; visually
its amazing Anime overlaid on live footage very subtly(not Roger Rabbit
Style) and a musical score that would bring a tear to your eye.

Go see it!

And it's a South Korean animated film. I'm still waiting for a proper

Thats probably why its hard to google it.

According to the Film Festival people, its a joint Japano-Korean film, but
I'll not argue with you.

Generally, IMDB and Moviecityweb are two of the finest online resources
for film information.

The info I've read said it was S.Korean. There may have been some
assistance from Japan (since they're The Country for animation studios),
but it's predominantely a SK production.
