Does anyone know of a reliable way to deal with insomnia?[1] Mine is getting worse to the extent that I can't sleep properly for weeks on end and then crash to the point that the SO has to call me in sick at work because I just don't function - best she could get out of me this morning was "Uuurgh" in reply to "Do you want a coffee".... more »

Right, so I was reading through the "2 years on a blog" thread, and I saw a comment by Elliott I wanted to reply to. So I hit "Reply to Group", wrote my reply, and then "Send". OE said it couldn't post because line 4 was too long - a reasonably common occurrence here. Now, I normally get round this problem by signing on to Google... more »

Opera upgrade to 9.60 Newsgroup reader

Has anyone else here: 1) upgraded to Opera 9.6, and 2) got "authentification failed" message every time the computer tries to download the latest posts? If so, can anyone help? (This is from a previous version which does not have that problem) All helpful suggestions [1] gratefully received! Thanks... more »

A meet has been suggested for next weekend (Saturday 18th) most likely at the Heritage Motor Center Gaydon in the day and the 1450 cafe/bar thing Spon Street Coventry in the evening. Daytime part should be family friendly (not enough meets are that, I reckon), evening part not, no crash space (at least not with the organisers) but some... more »
