The bit: "...his entry into SF as a boy (via a porn shop run by an old
dear)..." and the subsequent expansion on it made me think of Kilgore
Trout. I don't know why it didn't occur to me when he's mentioned it
before, but I'll bet it has always been intentional. Pity the author of
the article relied on her auto-correct, though.
