In the light of Josh Kirby's current unavailability, Paul
Kidby has been confirmed as the new DW cover artist.
His first cover is a parody of Rembrandt's "Night Watch",
for a book of the same name.

Is it in the same style as the other covers?

Without looking, I can say no.

How do you mean? Obviously, it's not going to look like Josh Kirby's.
And they've always been fiddling with the actual layout (letterbox on
hardback? same picture all the way round, or printed twice? what font?
name in a little box?), so I'd imagine it could look like *anything*.

Of course, the big question now is - will the new covers, with Kidby's
more restrained art, see a rise in readership? A rise in, perhaps,
credibility for the series (amongst those who see a Kirby cover and
reach for their rifle, of course. Not us)
