G'day all,

I'm new to this list, although I have been a Pratchett fan for a number of
years now. I live in Australia, and was just wondering if anyone on the list
knows when the next time might be that Mr T. Pratchett will grace the shores
of Oz with his presence and give me the opportunity to attend a book
signing? Any ideas at all would be good, thanks!

C'ya,

Damian.

Mr Pratchett OBE has stated on this newsgroup that there is a planned
Australia/NZ tour for November 2002. Beyond that, we can't tell you much
more. I would very much like Terry to visit Adelaide again (he hasn't been
here since 1997) but I can understand if we get left off the tour list
again, considering Adelaide *is* a smaller city that Melbourne, Sydney or
Brisbane.

Why yes Sid I am from Longreach originally, in sunny outback Queensland. It
came as quite a shock to read your reply and be recognised on a newsgroup!
I'm afraid I don't recognise your name, how do we know each other/ how did
we know each other back in Longreach?

C'ya,

Damian.

...hot, outback Queensland. Returning for Christmas and actually
contemplating buying shorts (and wondering why my family always does the
traditional roast english dinner in 40 degree heat! :-)

Always a risk :-)

Intials, wouldn't want to be recognised by any locals... :-)

I've a terrible memory, but I'm thinking you might have been just finishing
highschool when I was just starting. You were the smart, shorter kid? A few
years back now. (Or maybe you were the mailman...? :-)

Peace
Sid
