You won't be able to see it online until Friday (I get mine early as a
subscriber) but I think Private Eye might have gone just a leeeeetle too
far with the latest cover. Laughed my arse off!

Just wait for those court actions!

How does it compare to the recent Time and Newsweek covers?

Much nastier, and probably more likely to get sued for this than for the
Diana cover.

It'll be online tomorrow.

Not sure if you would know but there is a major investigation going on
in UK about media phone hacking by NI and our beloved Rebekha is in the
middle of it.

From the picture used she could star in a remake of "The Witches of
Eastwick" or as one of Dracula's brides in a remake of "Van Helsing".

Talking about consorting with "The Devil known to all as Murdoch[1]" is
probably good for a libel case as well.

We shall see. I thought it was hilarious.

Having now seen it, I have to express a certain disappointment. I mean,
it's hardly Gilray, is it? I think the late, great Lord Gnome would have
gone a lot further.

I think they've had to be a bit careful since the outrage over the
'Diana' cover but with the ongoing trial, sorry "Enquiry", I suppose
they had to be a bit more careful.

Apparently Charlie Brooks, her husband, said
that she's the victim of a witch hunt. So they
couldn't /not/ do it.

Quite right too. I've met the woman, she lives quite close, and I couldn't
stand her. You may think I'm arrogant, and I admit I am, but I'm no match
for her!

The picture was perfect, if that's not a witch then what is? It was "The
Devil known as Murdoch" that I suspect may get the litigation going.
Still, PE is used to being sued and often wins. I liked the way they
artificially aged the cover (as said I have hard copy).
