[F] Esmeraldus Birthday Meet, London 10th August

Esmeraldus is visiting these Isles. Furthermore, that aupicious day the
Tenth of August is both a Sunday and her birthday. It seems therefore
appropriate to me to summon a meet to celebrate that fortunate date. The
meet to be held, should it please the assembled company, at the Green
Man pub (as has been done before) from, say, seven o'clock until demands
of the trains and next day's work shall tear the happy company apart.
What say you all?

Bugger, as I'm on vacation that week, and if I wasn't, would
be on the continent on a Sunday, I won't be coming, but hope
everybody has fun ... I'll see some of you at the con, I

That sounds good and I should like very much to attend
However, I would need some kind soul to provide me with lodging for the
night. Is there any person here who would offer succour to a traveler
from the Northern lands?

I will be happy to attend, not least because, earlier that day, I'll
be only a short distance away, selling my products at the London
Fetish Fair http://www.londonfetishfair.co.uk/ at a place called
Shillibeers[1] in North Road, off Caledonian Road, from 12pm to 6pm,
so if anyone wants to visit before the esteemed Lady's party (and
maybe buy her a present ;-) ) or, indeed, escort her along, they'd be
welcomed.

[1] Yes, if you've been following the news, this was the place that
Ben Kinsella was drinking at before he was stabbed, however in in the
ten or more years I've been doing markets like this I can only ever
recall one incident of someone getting "out of hand" and that was
someone who'd come along to watch football on the venue's big screen
and wasn't there for the market at all, so please don't be worried.

I wondered when that would be this year. My girlfriend will be along, so if

I do hope so.
BTW There are other events around the same time, for instance on the
2nd of August there's Brighton Pride which is probably the biggest
event of its type in the UK or, if you can't get to Brighton, there's
also Kinkfest on the same day (unfortunately) which is held at Conway
Hall in London.

Ooh, thanks. We were thinking of Brighton. We'll be in London catsitting, so
it would have been easy enough to get to Brighton.
I've never been to a Pride event, and I've only been to the one Fetish Fair
in 2006, so either would be fine, but since GF has been to many Pride events
and Kinkfest is actually in London, it might be easier and kinder on our
charge (the cat we're minding) to go to Kinkfest.

Well the London Pride event was last weekend, apparently, but
Kinkfests are fairly interesting and have Workshops as well.
Hopefully I'll see you at the LFF before DWCon :-)
