The SO is going to India soon for the consecration of some temple that is
apparently important (don't ask me - I'm a Pessimistalist, or possibly a
Cynicalian).

Anyone been there (India that is) and have any tips?
Suggestions along the lines of what to do and what not to do would be
welcomed, particularly as I can't go with her.
