Hey Children of teh 80's. A bit of trivia then a querie.

What short-lived sitcom (a cros between 90210 and Friends) "featured" a
Title song by Oingo Boingo, and often several songs within each episode.

"Fast Times" (obviously based on Fast Times at Ridgemont High"

So does anyone here remeber that gem. I actually thought it was not that
bad of a show - considering the junk on today. I never did record it and
I was wondering if anyone perhaps has it recorded...MPEG or otherwise?
It was acatchy little ditty - very fast paced (kind of like "Happy").

There's something to chew on.

Cheers!

I think the show actually lasted less than a season.

Dan's Boingo Page used to have wav. of the opening theme.

Since we're on the topic of trivia questions, how about this one. . . . .

How many cartoons shown on television did Danny or Boingo do the music for?

Someone else should continue this trivia thread.

What was Fast Times At Ridgemont High anyway? Funny, you grow to accept
something, but I have no idea what it really was or what it was about.

ah! Fast Times at Ridgemont High is one of those 'clips from the life of
today's youth' films... it's silly, but a definitely period piece. (ex:
y'know Valley Girl, so, it's like that, and the Breakfast Club- which i don't
know if you've seen- and basically any Molly Ringwald film. 80's teens flick.
except Ridgemont came out before that genre was corrupted and signatured by
John Hughes, so it's rather cool... ahem. "Gnarly.")

FTARH/Jeff Spiccoli - what a movie! I remember seeing that movie 7 nights in
a row back in the summer it came out.(didn't have much else to do in Aurora,
IL except tip cows over in Dekalb- yeehaw! LOL!) The soundtrack was great -
OINGO BOINGO was in it! (back on topic) Phoebe Cates..schwing! How many stars
today were in that flick then? I'll name one - Anthony Edwards (ER fame).
Can anyone name any others ?

Coincidence, or conspiracy?
