Mysterious Anarchists In Copenhagen

Reports of anarchists among the demonstrators at
Copenhagen have provoked my curiosity.

As I understand it, the demonstrators have been
calling for more intensive government activity in
reducing greenhouse gasses or carbon emissions.
Calling for increased government activity does
not seem very anarchistic. Various explanations
suggest themselves:

1. The media are getting it wrong, as they
usually do, and there actually aren't any
anarchists.

2. The "anarchists" are not anarchists.

3. The anarchists don't have consistent theories.

4. The demonstrations have different purposes
than those ascribed to them by the media.

Any information or ideas about this?
