Moving firefox to a new machine

I'm buying a new PC, moving from Win XP to Win 7. It will come
with Firefox pre-installed. Can anyone advise on how I move my
long list of bookmarks to the new machine, please?

Croeso! And I only knew because I had to do the same thing about a month
ago, and was sufficiently pig-headed to do it *my* way - with, as the
continuity announcers used to say - 'hilarious consequences'.

I use MozBackup: http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/

Backup Firefox and Thunderbird on old machine to USB flash drive.

Restore it from flash drive on new machine.

I had to do that about a year ago and I was quite pleasantly surprised
how thorough a job MozBackup did the job! I didn't even have to search
for the plug-ins because they also transferred just fine!
