Well, let愀 move on to my real question:
Are there different versions of the 14 dvd complete MP collection?
I have seen different names and cover pics on Ebay for this set.

I don愒 recognize that cover? Is it the real thing?

To me that looks like a 2 disc set, which is what the episodes are
sold as if it's not the 14 disc box set. I'm not sure which episodes
are in that one, but it's not the full monty (excuse the pun).

P.S. As for the artist direct board, I've no idea when that's coming
back but it's been down for months.

of the entire series? The one put out by A&E? Which, though regionless
(it will play in any country's DVD players) was primarily marketed in
the United States? (Like the VHS tapes, A&E released them both in
volumes and a full-series box set. The volumes had different covers.)
I remember before the Artist Direct boards on Pythonline died, there
was buzz about a British set of the entire series being released, but
I've heard naught about it since.

There is definately just one version of the 14 disc DVD set.
What's being auctioned on eBay is a 2 disc version only containing 4
episodes and is not the entire Flying Circus series.
The series is available on DVD either as one big 14 disc boxset or in
2 disc sets. They were auctioning just one of those little 2 disc
boxsets and not the full series, that's why the price is so low.

Thank you, but are you sure? Nowhere in the auction does it say that
it is a 2-dvd box. It says "Complete 14 dvd set" !!!

I'm positively sure, if you check out sites like Amazon you can see
that they come either as the 14 disc set or as 2 disc sets, like so:
