Heard last night on the Sirius/XM satellite radio Classical Pops
station: Michael Palin singing "Decomposing Composers"

I always thought it was Eric Idle singing that. He did have the best singing
voice of the lot.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Great song though....

In played the Contractual Obligation Album a couple of times and I think I
have to change my opinion.
I now also think that Michael Palin is the artist in this song. What has not
changed is my opinion: One of the best Python songs; I do not recall this
song being performed on TV. Anybody know better?

No, it was not performed on TV. I believe it was made specifically for
that album.
