Mo is Top UK Female Artist ever!

Elvis Presley, Elton John, and Madonna are among the top U.K. singles
artists in the 50-year history of the British chart, according to the
latest edition of the Guinness Book Of Hit Singles. Presley ranks as the
top male; Madonna is the top female. Surprisingly, the Beatles only come
in at Number Nine. The top group honor goes to the Shadows, the band
that often backed British singer Cliff Richard, who lands just above
them on the list in the Number Two spot.

Madonna missed out on that. While her career sales place her high on the
list of best selling artist, individual records tend to sell less on average
as single sales have gone down. The best selling UK Madonna release was Into
the Groove.
