Macross/Robotech Question for the experts..

Greets,

First off don't kill me for using the dreaded RT word :-P

I am a HUGE! Macross fan, but I am also interested in Anime in
general, especially "Mech" shows/movies. RT was my introduction into
Anime. Once I learned about the real Macross, I felt cheated. I cannot
even watch the US-RT without feeling a little sick. The voice dubbing
and script is terrible. I have a VCD set of Macross that I watch over
and over again. I don't understand a word of it (I cannot speak a
single word of Japanese), but I love it all the same.

My questions....

What are the names (English and Japanese) of the other two Anime
series that were spliced (ie butchered) into the US release of RT?

Are there any websites dedicated to these series, and how can I find
them?

I would love to learn about each series seperately so that I can enjoy
thier true story lines.

Choujikuu Kidan Southern Cross ( The Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross)
became the "Robotech Masters" part of RT

Kikou Souseiki Mospeada (Genesis Climber Mospeada) became the "New Generation"
part of RT.
