To Mike Dooley. . .A toast, and a question

Engineer Mike, you were definitely the unsung hero of LoveLine. I'm here
to tell you that most engineers just sort of blend in to the show (I
realize that it's the job description!), but you managed to put your
"masculine stink" on the show subtly by inserting just the right sound
effects or sometimes coming in with a comment, or always knowing the
right song or pop-culture reference. . .let's all raise our virtual
champagne flutes in unison . . . . .TO ENGINEER MIKE!!!!! (gulp)

My friend and I were talking today, and he suggested that perhaps, Mike,
your departure had something to do with the microphones being on during
the Pennywise show's commercial break and letting a few choice words get
out over the air. I told him I doubted it, becuase people don't
generally get fired for that (also, you would have been fired from the
station, and since you're still going to work for Leykis. . .) but my
friend doesn't subscribe to this newsgroup, so I'll ask for him. . .was
that a factor?

Thanks for the note....

NO I didnt leave due to Fletcher's swearing. I had made the decision to
leave a while ago and was (ironically enough) training someone when
Pennywise was on. That guy didn't get scared away and is now running the
show.

I've been havoing fun watching the news live at 11PM, seeing movies on
weeknights, and spending time with my girlfriend.
