Okay, I was looking through some old boxes of mine and I found some old
drawings (with the exception of the last link - I did that a few months
ago). Well, I scanned them (yes I am scanner happy now!) and I would like
to share them with you. Yes, I know that they don't really relate to TLK,
except the first link, which is a lion drawing I did, and quite possibly my
favorite drawing ever. Here are the links:

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/simbaspride/images/drawlion.jpg (a lion drawing
that I did from a picture off the cover of a Big Cats book. I colored it in
with crayons.)

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/simbaspride/images/drawwolf.jpg (a wolf that I
sketched off the cover of an endangered species book.)

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/simbaspride/images/drawwolf2.jpg (a wolf that I
drew off a calendar.)

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/nalasnursery/images/Raptor1.jpg (a raptor that I
drew from stratch. Usually I can only draw from a picture, but I did that
one all by myself!! It's also my character on a Jurassic Park RPG,
Lockjaw.)

Well, thanks for checking them out! I will be sending some more pictures of
my TLK collection soon! Thanks again!

Wow Heron! Those are awesome! The lion is especially powerful, and
not just because of my TLK-addiction. ;) How long did it take you to finish
that one, do you remember? All of the color detail makes it seem like it
must have taken forever!

Thanks for sharing, the pictures were beautiful!

Thanks for the comments. I know that they aren't as good as some of the
other artists on the list, but I still liked them. I'm glad you liked the
lion as he is my favorite drawing ever. Yeah, I like the way the crayon
came out because crayon usually looks like crap when you color something in,
all the white spaces and such, but the lion really looks good with the
crayon. As for how long it took to draw and color him, I remember that it
didn't take long to draw him, but it took a long time to color him. I don't
usually color my drawings in as I feel that I distort them when I do that.
But I just felt like coloring that day. I do remember there being at least
3 or 4 different colors in his mane. Even pencil is in his mane. He was
really fun to draw though. Again, thanks for your wonderful comments. They
were appreciated.

I think this one is better than the ones you copied, you can tell it's
original. I too love JP!

I've learned, while using any color media, rather it's pastel, color pencil
or paint that you have to use a range of different colors to solidify it. I
use some times, up to 3 different reds mixed with maybe 3 oranges and
yellows for some parts of drawings. See what I'm saying?
