Why even play? Everyone knows I'm the most intuitive person -- almost
psychically so -- around here.
Still, I'm not prepared to offer my prediction just yet. (I'll go into a
trance a little later.)
That is all.

Believe it or not, without seeing Alan's guess, I landed on October
10, 2008.
I spent some time with the supersecret episode logs, in hopes of
finding recent vacation patterns. That wasn't much help.
Sweeps weeks for 2008 include:
May 2008: 4/21 to 5/21
June 2008: 7/03 to 7/30
Nov. 2008: 10/30 to 11/26
I'd never heard of July Sweeps. I'd always thought May Sweeps was/were
pretty much confined to days in May. I'm used to the show doing a week
of vacation not long before a Sweeps month.
I'm guessing a vacation week in April, around the Final Four. I'm
allowing for one week in May (the last week), one week in June, one
week in July, two weeks in August and one in September.
I await input from Donz on this most important matter.

I believe it. Did you forget only 3 shows next week?

Oh, no, I have that information on my Web page.
I'm stumped on what they'll do with the Final Four week, Labor Day,
the May Sweeps ending a week earlier than usual, etc.
I went over episode logs for recent summers, while looking at
calendars, and couldn't come up with a pattern. This is over my head.
Is Morris Fonte still available? Brady knows, but he's not tellin'.

I think Alan should offer a prize for this game.

See... I told you Brady knows the answer! We gots to know.
It would hardly be a game if you are such a psychic intuitive.

Hmm, you've got a point there. It would hardly be fair.
Truth be told, I'm just angling for fresh produce.

Ya know, sometimes it's not easy being so amazingly intuitive.
That's why I didn't enter the AFL March Madness Pick 'Em Whoop-Dee-Do.
It wouldn't have been fair.

Seems to me the *real* game is who will they schedule to appear on this landmark
show, or will they even make much of a hoop-de-doo about it?...
I'm guessing maybe Bill Murray, and of course Regis is a contender...plus a
visit from Les "my name is Pasquale" Moonves to congratulate Dave...and Dave
will be led onstage that night by the hoo-hah girls....r

What good is being an executive if you never get to execute anyone?
It's all over my head, too, but I'll still guess:
October 23rd.
That's also Johnny Carson's birthday! Wouldn't *that* be nice?
I'm going with October 6, 2008
Maybe...who factored in the Beijing Olympics but not any Dave illnesses
Weird Al Yankovic's too....
Also my dad's....r
What are we playing for, Alan?
