Funny you should mention all this today because I either just
discovered how to properly redisplay with respect to the original
authors of a thread OR if I've been a total rube and have just been
missing the remedy all this time ... this so called failure to
properly display the authors of a thread in GoogleGroups was the whole
foundation of why many users urged users like myself to abandon Google
Groups and install their own stand-alone independent newsreader ... if
anybody here knows the real scoop on this suspicious issue, I'd sure
like to know what it is, and if this new or old Google Groups was just
fixed to remedy this major oversight, or has the fix been there all
this time and just been overlooked? ... I'd like to think this newly
