Will Lee plays at a middle school in PA
Maybe
used to. It wasn't the set of "The Late Show with David Letterman" or
a world-famous concert site.
It was the auditorium of Sandy Run Middle School.<

Type in "Will Lee" in the Search box. The video clip is the second
item down.

The news item offers a link to the video at its end, but when
selected, it takes you to the main newspaper page rather than the
video.

Whilst I have a high regard for DDY's site and all it gives us, it
wasn't easier than clicking on the original link and putting "Will Lee" in
the search box and then pressing the "Enter" key.
This is exactly how we both (& I think DDY) found it, but another around
here doesn't seem to have the necessary brain cells to master such
endeavors.
I periodically visit DDY's site but I still don't believe his claim that
"Numerous animals were harmed in the creation of this site." Maybe one or
two, but 'numerous"?...I don't think so.

Usually, spiders are considered good luck in a house. But I looked up
"brown recluse" spiders and read about them. They're the most venomous
kind. I didn't post a link so that no one gets nauseous reading about
them.
Hope I don't get nightmares from the little I read and saw. But, as I
said, the usual li'l spider is just busy weaving its web. It's not
necessary to kill it.

Ah, comes a recollection of my younger sister putting a huge black
plastic spider in my bed when we shared a room as kids. My father was
very angry at her. The combo of the spider and his anger at
her...well, I wasn't too happy. He roared a lot. Today is her
birthday, oddly enough. I got over my fear of spiders, but don't want
to read about especially repulsive ones. That would be masochistic of
me.

We would be on topic if Will enraptured the kids by performing some of
John Entwistle's bass lines to "Boris The Spider" by The Who. Some great
bass lines in that song.

post above followed by Alan's, yours, and mine. After all, we're simply

It just follows the root note of the chords.

It was a simple chord structure requiring a simple bass line for an
early Who song which was featured as a B-side single. Entwistle had
already proven his competence in "My Generation" and in subsequent
recordings by playing with more complexity and spontaneity. The fact
that Entwistle performed on "Boris" is still noteworthy as it showcased
his talent as an excellent bassist.

The mark of a high-class musician is that he *can* pull out all the

Depends on what one's goals are. Two (or more) would offer greater

See above references to "simple chord progression," "B-side" recording
and the alternative interpretation of the phrase: "some great bass
lines."
Entwistle had already established himself as one of the premier rock
bassists at the time with the Who's earliest recordings.
