Phew; "some people think" that this was all an Obama ploy to get the
Sebelius vote:

This news comforts me as much as when, in late October 2001, President
Bush told the press, "I don't have anthrax."
Hoping that none of us come down with the swine flu. Or a case of the
anthrax.

Nice. Maybe it's a sign of the apocalypse.

My favorite member of Congress, Michele Bachmann (R-MN), weighed in
today during an interview with Pajamas TV. Congresswoman Bachmann finds
it 'interesting' that swine flu broke out during the administration of
'another Democrat [sic] president' -- Jimmy Carter.
Bachmann: "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the
swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter.
And I'm not blaming this on President Obama. I just think it's an
interesting coincidence." (http://tinyurl.com/BachmannPJTV)
Is something wrong with her?
Anyway, she's wrong.
"The [swine flu] cases became international news and spurred then-U.S.
president Gerald Ford to begin a national flu vaccination program, which
Jimmy Carter continued." (http://www.thestar.com/living/article/625225)

Pajamas TV?
Maybe...and she wasn't even wearing pajamas
My midwest source (Mr. BH) informs that Iowa Lt. Gov. Patty Judge held
a news conference yesterday to try to calm her constituent's fears
about the swine flu "and broke into a coughing spell so bad she had to
leave the podium."
There may be a clip on one of the talkfests either tonight or later
this week.

Oh, Pajamas TV (PJTV.com) is a wonderful organization. Founded by former
Hollywood screenwriter Roger L. Simon, they're the ones who hired Joe
the Plumber to travel to the Mideast to cover the recent Israel-Gaza
conflict.
So, you know they're serious about standing out as a credible
'conservative' voice in the cluttered news wilderness.

Remember this fake ad on the Late Show from 2004?
"Billions of cicadas are now emerging from the ground to swarm over
large parts of the United States, just as they did in 1987, 1970, and
1953. Interestingly, these horrible marauding insects only appear when
a Republican is President.
"Tell the filthy Republican cicadas you're not going to take it
anymore. Vote for Democrat John Kerry for President.
"Paid for by John Kerry - leadership you can trust."

Hah. That was bad.

I got the first of what was supposed to be two swine flu vaccinations back in
'76...the second was scheduled for two weeks later, by which time they had
cancelled the program....
I have no idea whether this means I have any sort of immunity at all from the
current outbreak....r

An optometrist asks whether you see the glass
more full like this?...or like this?

The CDC and the news media are now referring to the "Swine Flu" virus as
the "H1N1 Virus."

Sounds like a Thomas Bros Guide reference....r
What is Reese Witherspoon gonna do? She bought her kid a pet pig
fairly recently. What if they have to get rid of it? Pig persecution
is on the horizon.

Eight minutes into the show. Nice.
Are you a psychic? Or, are you an intuitive?

I'm a psytive. Rather than an intuichic.

Gave up on being an analrapist, eh?
Carl
I hear ya.
I was once intuichic.

The money just wasn't there. Who knew.
