Cool to see Super Diamond coming to the LS. Saw them in Santa Cruz a
couple of years ago. Very good show.

The Answer is the opening act on the current AC/DC tour.

Isn't Carla Bruni Sarkozy the first lady of France, the president of
France's new wife? She is supposed to be a singer (and a model, of
course) so forget the Cold Hard Cash, the scheduled band. Just let
her do the singing.

When they visited England, the Queen didn't want them to share the
same bedroom in the Castle because they weren't married yet.

I didn't know she was doing talk show appearances. Not many foreign
leader's wives are on the talk show circuit.

Maybe...hummm...wonder what she is promoting and if she even knows
much English

That's going to be a very interesting show, if only because I haven't
got a clue why she'd do it...

She does have an album in current release: Comme si de rien n'était. I
would imagine that she--like most educated Europeans--has a solid grasp on
both her native language and English.

She was born in Italy and became a French citizen. Her website is in
French, German, Spanish and English.

www.carlabruni.com

Maybe...so we'll see how good her English is

This should be good, he was recently encouraged to resign from his BBC
radio show for leaving a series of rude messages on an actor's
answering machine - the guy who played Manuel in Fawlty Towers, don't
feel like looking up the name right now. I heard the show and it was
hilarious, but apparently Manuel was deeply offended. Plus, I also
read that Russell may play Captain Jack Sparrow's brother in the next
Pirate movie, which would be excellent casting. Looking forward to
this show.

No, she *is* going to sing on the show according to this article from
the Orlando Sentinel:

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2008/11/david-letterman.html

<David Letterman lands Carla Bruni, first lady of France

How will David Letterman act during this interview?

Flirt? Be respectful? Cause an international incident?

The CBS funnyman will interview Carla Bruni, first lady of France, on
Tuesday's show. You can catch the "Late Show With David Letterman" at
11:35 p.m. on WKMG-Channel 6.

Bruni will discuss her life and sing "As If Nothing Happened" from her
latest album. She is pictured with her husband, French President
Nicolas Sarkozy.

Other guests Tuesday will be animal expert Jack Hanna and Cold Hard
Cash, the Johnny Cash tribute band.>

Maybe...so I guess that article about Cold Hard Cash singing two songs
is not right.
