CBS'S LATE NIGHT DUO THRIVING IN FEBRUARY

"Late Show with David Letterman" In Closest Competitive Position to "The
Tonight Show" in a February Sweep In Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults
25-54 Since 1998

"The Late Late Show" On Track to Deliver Its Largest February Audience
(With Any Host) Ever

With three nights remaining in the February sweep, CBS's late night
duo of LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN and THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG
FERGUSON are on the verge of a milestone month, according to Nielsen
ratings for the week ending Feb. 25.

With three nights left to the February Sweep, LATE SHOW is averaging a
3.6/10 in households, 4.86 million viewers, 2.1/08 in adults 25-54,
1.7/08 in adults 18-49 and 1.2/06 in adults 18-34. If these ratings hold
over the next three nights, LATE SHOW is in its best competitive
position in a February sweep with "The Tonight Show" in households (-0.7
rating points) since 1996, in viewers (-1.05m), adults 25-54 (-0.4
rating points) and adults 18-49 (-0.4 rating points) since 1998 and in
adults 18-34 (-0.5 rating points) since 2001.

Last week LATE SHOW posted a 3.6/10 in households with an average of
4.96m viewers, +3% in households (from 3.5/09) and +5% in viewers (from
4.73m) compared to the same week last year. LATE SHOW was up +6% in
adults 18-49 (1.8/08 from 1.7/07), +5% in adults 25-54 (2.1/08 from
2.0/08) and even in adults 18-34 (1.2/06) compared to the same week last
year.

On Thursday last week, LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in households,
viewers, adults 18-34 and tied NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

With three nights left to the February 2005 Sweep, "The Tonight
Show" is averaging 4.3/11 in households, 5.91 million viewers, 2.5/10 in
adults 25-54, 1.7/08 in adults 18-34 and 2.1/09 in adults 18-49. If
these ratings hold over the next three nights, "The Tonight Show" will
have posted its lowest February sweep rating in households, adults 18-34
and adults 18-49 since LATE SHOW premiered and in viewers and adults 25-
54 since February 1995.

With three nights left to the February 2005 sweep, THE LATE LATE SHOW
with CRAIG FERGUSON is averaging 1.5/06 in households, 1.93 million
viewers, 0.8/5 in adults 18-49 and 0.6/04 in adults 18-34.

If the ratings hold, this is THE LATE LATE SHOW's best delivery in
households (with any host) in a February sweep since 1997 and best
viewer delivery ever in a February sweep.

Last week, THE LATE LATE SHOW posted a 1.6/06 in households with 1.94m
viewers. Compared to the same week last year, LATE LATE SHOW was up +
14% in households (from 1.4/05) and +9% in viewers (from 1.78m).

Note: CBS had Accenture Match Championship Highlights Thursday and
Friday.
