Watched "The View" this morning, and suddenly Joy Behar, in discussing
creationism vs. Darwinism (right?)--suddenly began to interrupt
others, loudly voice her feelings on the subject, and dismiss any
opposing arguments. She is a woman of resolute convictions and very
little thought.

I guess it took me this long to release a long-suppressed judgment of
her as an embarrassment to talk show personalities. How did she get on
the show, and why do others come and go when she stays put? I can only
guess that she genuflects the right way to Baba Wawa.

It's New Year's Eve, and I'm wondering if outgoing Prez Bush will
pardon her. Feh.

It was a rerun this morning. The View has been in reruns for two
weeks now. It is usually Elisabeth that interrupts everything and I
think Joy wanted to get her point across despite Elisabeth
interrupting *her*.

Joy is actually the voice of reason among the two right wing Christian
conservatives, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepard. Sherri
Shepard actually didn't think the world was round when first asked and
Elisabeth is a Stepford Republican blonde who must get a fax from the
Republican party every morning giving what she is supposed to think
about everything..

And yes, I think she sucks up to Baba Wawa and doesn't spur any
arguments with guests and people outside the show like Rosie and Starr
did.

Maybe...who saw it and didn't think anything of it because that is how
that show is run, the louder you are allows you to get your point
across.

And what does this have to do with Joy and the View? The View is not
even mentioned in the stupid video.

Maybe...who watched the whole stupid thing and didn't see anything
about the View in it

The view is intellectually overwhelming, and there is no equivalency,
analogy, nor relationship
with that local yokel journalist stab at profundity, especially when
Rosie is rocketed by Barbara

The Capital Steps (which for some reason it made me think of), are
also
irrelevant and humorless song parodies of un-VIEW like absurdist
phenomena

Thanks for your perspective, Laura, and have a great 2009...the whole
year long.

I think Whoopi is the real voice of reason on The View...she never
yells to make her point. If they continue to be shrill, they should
call the show "The Screamers."

which gives me an idea:

doesn't:

It's a beautiful world, afterall
it's a luvly luvly globe
it's a wonderful planet

it's a nice reality
it's a pleasant, pleasant life
it's a dandy existence

Attn: attendants should 7/24/365 repeat song redundantly wihle touring

Is today the first time you've seen The View? Have you never seen the
parody on SNL? That's exactly how it is most of the time, all of them
talking at once and one screaming trying to be heard above the
others.

Maybe...and Happy New Year to you too!!
