There is a new opening sequence tonight.
First time they modified it since 2005 from the 1999/2001 version(s)
Also, some new camera shots following the opening intro,
and other graphics/bumpers throughout the show.

The thing about the CBS-O sweep in the '2002 revamp' is that there were changes last year with a few people moving on / new band mates. If you blinked, you wouldn't even notice they were still there in the sweep.
But, hey, if the 10/15/2002 opening was only shown that night, then what is to expect tonight? Maybe we won't see the 04/22/2013 opening tonight!
The new audience sweep at 50minutes looks really awkward or they also changed some lights in the audience area of the theatre. Or it's always looked like that I never noticed.
I've just gotten so used to seeing the 1999 visuals for so long each night, and now I guess they are gone.
But, hey, if the 10/15/2002 opening was only shown that night, then what is to expect tonight? Maybe we won't see the 04/22/2013 opening tonight!

You know what I's like to do is take my Cinematography team. for a fee
mind you, and do an opening for the LLS opening.

It seems they modified the opening a little bit for the Thursday 4/25/2013 show.
The segments with the subway turn styles and the lady on her cell phone were flipped around. I don't know why I have to see this lady on her cell phone at the
beginning each and every night. What's so special about that lady? I wonder if she even knows she's now "the face" of the new opening!
It was a little strange at first to see her with a guest key over her face. I guess that's why they flipped it around for the Thursday show.
I also noticed that on the Tuesday 4/23/2013 show that they tried to put the
guest name keys at the bottom of the screen instead of the center. Just
some little tweaks. I guess Dave didn't like the opening at first!

Keep them in the lower thirds ... I'd like to see what the city looks
like, when I have time ti watch the show.
