A lot of the articles I've read about Regis' absence ask:

1) "Will Dave fill in as a co-host?"

Ha! Probably not.

and
2) " Will Dave be Regis' first guest back from surgery?"

Who knows? It could happen.

Maybe...who has the second to most hours on TV and can they catch up
to Regis now?

You know what actor has been a regular cast member in the greatest number of TV
series?...a few names come to mind: Bill Bixby, Michael Landon, Don Rickles, Tim
Conway...all of those are high on the list, but the answer might surprise
you....

Hint: he's not going to make any more....r

In this era of terrible monologues, that was one of the worst. Several
jokes repeated verbatim from Monday's show plus a Geico, a thing on Trump's
head and *two* Bloomberg is shorts. When even that wasn't enough, bring out
the sneezing monkey (twice) to kill the time.

Don Francisco shows no signs whatsoever of slowing down any time soon....

The actual answer is Robert Urich....r

That really is a surprise. Too bad he died so young.

I was shocked at Rihanna's performance. She was singing flat at most
of the time, the words were unintelligable, but other than that, Dave
gave her lots of praise. "You lie!," Dave.

And please, I know Dave is not here. But someone should've yelled it
out. No, the audience is too polite.

Carrie Fisher is sweet, but she was a bit tame and subdued, for her.
She has great wit. She looks heavy, probably because of the medication
she's taking. It's possible she was saving her energy for her Broadway
show, which she had to do after taping the Big Show.
