I probably should have saved it for reference purposes, but on Monday night I
swear I saw a commercial (during "How I Met Your Mother" or maybe it was
"Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives") where Linda from the Weekend Late Show was one of
the consumers...I think it was for a cellphone company, an insurance company, a
bank, or something service-y like that, and she was only on-screen for a second
or so and had no lines....r

It's quite possible that she had a gig as an extra in a commercial at
one time. Many extras in the "biz" have moved on to bigger and better
things.
