Whatever I write won't do the wonderful experience justice, so I'll
start with photos.
Rod,
home again
Great photos! I wish I knew what you did for a living.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:
Nick & Marilyn: Cutest. Couple. Ever.

Sorry you didn't get the switch ties with dave...but glad you finally
made it
to DaveCon.... great year to do so.
Hopefully next year you'll come again and try to get you question
picked
you were the best dressed person in the group.... doesn't say much
considering what we were wearing!!!
great meeting you
renee
our rats love the newbies!
Those shots of Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, and times Square made me feel as
though I was there with you.
Oh, wait...
I'm glad they turned out so well.

That Marilyn is a hot little number, isn't she?
Really nice picture...you can see what a beautiful day it was,
weatherwise and otherwise!
Great pics Dr Rod and nice to finally meet you.Next year, lose the
tie ;)
Bill
I tried to (I'll explain in my trip report), but Dave chose question
catnip Shirlee. Honestly, can you blame him?
Rod
You are too kind, but the pictures prove that the ladies are the
fabulous babes of AFL.
I'm truly suffering post traumatic stress disorder over this, Rod.
Had I known your plans ahead of time, I would have kept myself out of
the question competition. I just assumed you were a snazzy dresser,
and always dressed snazzily, for no other reason but to be snazzy.
And you were/are.
Don't be silly. It was meant to be and I couldn't be happier that you
were called upon. My usual attire includes drawstring pajama pants and a
paper cap.
Next time, come dressed like that and I'm *sure* Dave'll call on you!!!
I like to see a picture of *that*! ;)
All DaveCon/NYC pics you've posted are terrific, Dr. Rod. What camera do you
use? High resolution shots, perfectly clear - like LS/Dave in HDTV.
Beautiful city shots...everyone's smiling...looks like a grand time, and I'm
especially happy for you & Greg E. as DaveCon first timers.
Don't forget the other items on your Bucket List! :)

I don't know beans about photography, but I can point and shoot. It was
such a beautiful day for one, and combined with the crowd I was with, it
was impossible to take a bad picture.
And speaking of cameras, I told Kate I would send her info about the
easy way to get her digital photos from her camera to her computer.

Oh, I won't!
Very nice photos Rod!!! Yes, that made the memories all too fresh
once again. I'm really glad that you got that shot of Donz and the
security guy talking it out. Classic. Plus as others here have said
already, very clear shots, making it all so real. It was nice to
finally meet you also.
Yes. Great photos. Could be the closest I ever get to NYC. Someone buy
Don a comb.
That won't help. Never did, never will.
Rod is a handsome man, and was smartly dressed. I tried to stand near
him as much as possible, just to seem "classy by proximitive association."
I... don't think it worked.
Hell -- while you kept on wandering about, I was right across him the
whole time at dinner, and it didn't help one bit.
Great photos, Rod. For some reason I ended up with a lot of pictures of
food. (NTTAWWT)

Your pictures are clear as a bell, and I agree with Maxx that you are
good-looking...with those deep brown eyes and nice smile.
Love them brown eyes...I look forward to what you have to say about
your experience.
