The Little Pie Company is closed by the Board of Hygiene and Mental
Health.

I went to Rupert's for an Inky, then to Jamba Juice for some anger.

Now it's off to LaGuardia.

Ahhhh! You should have called!!! We found more pie up the street that
wasn't under health code violations.

What? There's tainted pies as well as tainted tomatoes?

It's a fine world we live in these days.

I hope the pie taint stays way from Dorothy's door.

Traci, Greg Evans, and I had planned -- based on Cheryl's recommendation
-- to meet at the Little Pie Company for pie-as-lunch ("It's a meal
in itself") today, with Keith and possibly Brady to join us. I was the
first to arrive, and spotted the orange notice from the Board of Health,
closing the place down as of yesterday. Sheesh.

Fortunately, we found some great pie at a nearby diner. (Brady did not
end up joining us. He seems to think that dessert is *not* a meal in
itself. Sheesh.)

Have I ever mentioned my aspiration of being widely known as a meal in
itself?

Wait a minute, I missed this myself. However, my company decided to
throw me a welcome back BBQ today for lunch. Well, not exactly for
me, it was for everyone, I just happenned to walk in just in time this
morning to enjoy it. No pies, but the president's chili was enough to
make a few trips to the...................well, I think I'll move on.

Poor, misguided Brady. My slice of blueberry (and half slice of
chocolate creme) pie fueled my just fine until I grabbed a couple
of slices (of pizza pie) in Little Italy several hours later.

Seriously Brady, get with the program. My considerable research into
this matter should speak for itself.

I did show up at the Little Pie Company, but got there early: 11:15. I
waited until 11:30, and when nobody showed up, I bolted. I could have
only stayed for a few minutes anyway, because I had to be back in the
Bronx by 1pm for the stadium tour.
