I have an intermittent EAS fault 2000MY P38. The suspension usually raises quite quickly (within 1 minute driving from access) but occasionally (usually when the vehicle has not been used for a while or in cold temperatures) takes up to 5 miles driving and has timed out and locked up with the dash warning. What's the longest list you have ever had/seen?
One of my employees has been "rebuliding" his defender over the winter and came back with a list of 19 failure points and 2 advisories. One advisory was simply "Bad repairs".

disco II seat foam replacement.

this afternoon as it was unfeasibly nice weather I deceided have a go at the
disco II driver's seat, on which the foam was collapsed.
having taken the precaution of acquiring a disco I foam from exmoor, and
after much more effort than it should really need, I now have established
that with minor mods to the foam, the disco I foam will fit the disco II... more »
