On News Individual Net, I didn't see that post until you replied to it.
You may like to consider getting a subscription to one of the free news
server that run Cleanfeed, which ignores spam like this.
If ever I use BT's news server, it's only for binary groups, as they
don't run cleanfeed. Your choice, cleaned-up groups, which some people
consider to be censorship. or loads of spam.
If enough people report them to Google, they *may* do something about
their account, but their gmail account will be a thowaway one anyway.
