Paul wasn't talking to a person he probably doesn't know. Anderson
was answering questions from Charlie Rose and Gayle King.

There is a reason the cameraperson in the CBS studios had the TV
cameras turned to the ON position when Paul was talking. I will give
you three guesses.

Funny but true. The interview was not set up exclusively for Charlie
Rose and Gayle King. If it was just for them, they probably would have
met at either Charlie's, Gayle's or Paul's house. And to say that it
was being filmed and broadcast for the audience and was speaking
directly to anyone interested in the topic is not unreasonable.

But more importantly, Caligari/Ellen, what did you think of Paul
Thomas Anderson's comments about "The Master" and on Scientology?
