apparently the death of Lawry's friend matters to tex

Come on Tex people Die

I would suggest you focus your attention on how important people are
when they are ALIVE - and stop abusing them while it has a chance of
"making a difference"

ps - if someone has died in your life you have my sympathy

but if you can't honor people in LIFE

honoring them in death is a poor substitute
