Who is their competition???
I guess they didn't take a look at the ratings, as the Clones are
pretty much down everywhere. In NYC, their Home market, they're in
21st place, behind Imus & Whoopi.
If they're the biggest thing in FM talk radio, it doesn't say much for
FM talk radio.
OH MY !!! Let the tantrums begin !!! Betho is probably getting a "facial"
as I type this and when that's over stern will have to up his cashew
counting to 12 ..

Ooh, I can just imagine the torture of reading one of those:
"Just face it, Dennis, Howard is the shit shit, specially on Sirius. You don't
know what your talking about."

Hey Rocinante & Jimmy - you were right! Stern IS still in the news!

The list was valid up until last year when dopie and apathy threatened to
launch a pest attack because they were not included on it. They were forced
to include these unknown clones and the list became tainted.

Like I said above, any list that buckles to pressure and includes people
who don't belong there is invalid.

Leave the spin to the big boys, Tommy. That was pretty weak.

Almost last in NY is the biggest thing??? How is that possible?
The Forbes list is more relevant. Go see where Howard ranks on that list:

That list is relevant to radio? I didn't think so.
It is relevant to entertainment in general, which shows his influence in
the entire media.

You hang on to whatever you can, Tommy. The more you try to steer the
conversation away from radio, the more you're tacitly admitting he's become
irrelevant in that medium. And boring as fuck, if I may say so.
"Ooh, Howard's a celebrity. Look at the picture of him on the beach with his
whorse. Ooh!" <puke>
As Howard always said, "Radio is filled with the dregs of the
entertainment business" He is surrounded by clones and other morons, yet
he managed to make a few bucks at it. The clones and morons seem to be
bashing him while praying for a chance to be like him. Too bad none of
the clones have his talent or business acumen.
