If you listen to today's show, you will hear John the Stutterer not stutter. He seems too embarrassed to stutter before a large audience. I guess that means that he doesn't have to stutter if he didn't want to. Does that mean that he is faking it for the Stern show? I don't know. Although Stuttering John doesn't stutter when he is performing his announcing duties on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He is now known by his really given name, John Melendez. Are all these guys who stutter on the Stern just putting it on? I don't understand. Have the Stern fans been taken for a ride by all these stutterers?

when sj started on the stern show, he appeared to genuinely stutter. I believe he said at some point that he had started taking medication that helped him control his stuttering, plus he learned breathing and speaking techniques that helped as well. all the others, I don't know. and I dont' care because I can't stand them. john is a genuine and unique personality, not particularly angry or crazy. when he started out on the stern show he was energetic, smart and eager to please.

John Melendez never stuttered towards the end of his being on Stern's show either, or didn't you ever notice that?

They were probably pretending to be stutterers to get on the show.

How else would you explain the miracle cures?
> Have the Stern fans been taken for a ride by all these stutterers?
Are all the UFO stories and such on Art Bell real? What about all those people on those reality TV shows? This is all entertainment. Once you realize that, you can enjoy the shows more.
Is professional wrestling real?
Is what the president tells you about dozens of Saddam body doubles or WMD real?

John the Stutterer got better in one day. Perhaps his therapy methods are better.
Hey, John Ritter's son, who is cripple and in a wheel chair on the TV show Joan or Arcadia, was seen on an entertainment news program walking around on his feet with his mother!
Does this mean this guy was faking being cripple?
Of course it does. He is an actor in the entertainment business.
So are the characters on the Stern show.
Howard doesn't call Gary a horse toothed jackass off the show, or yell at Tom, or any of the stuff scripted for the show. Why do you think they have writers?

Or to give Fred a reason to do his hilarious stutter.
