WORLD SURVEY BY PHONE

Last month a world-wide survey was conducted by the UN.
The only question asked was: "Would you please give your honest opinion
about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world.

The survey was a huge failure because of the following:

1. In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.

2. In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.

3. In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.

4. In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.

5. In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.

6. In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.

7. In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

8. In the UK they hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.

So is this -----

She was standing in the kitchen, preparing our usual soft-boiled eggs
and toast for breakfast, wearing only The 'T' shirt that she normally
slept in.

As I walked in, almost awake, she turned to me and said softly, "You've
got to make love to me this very moment!"

My eyes lit up and I thought, "I am either still dreaming or this is
going to be my lucky day!" Not wanting to lose the moment, I embraced
her and then gave it my all; right there on the kitchen table.

Afterwards she said, "Thanks," and returned to the stove, her T-shirt
still around her neck.

Happy, but a little puzzled, I asked, "What was that all about?"

She explained, "The egg timer's broken."

no, the sun will be pretty much the same by then. in like five billion years it goes to a red giant, and cooks the earth, perhaps dissociating it.

i was thinking of continental drift, which shouid bring the continents together again, although to tell the truth i dont know the exact timescale and the resultant configuration.

And Callyfornya will be the new home of them Easter Island statues, innit ?

I saw some special on how the continents would recombine, but I cant remember the exact coniguration. By then Alberta might be on the equator due to polar wandering.

It is a tv show. It's also the beginnig of the universe. Polysemy.

It's a good tv show if you enjoy physics students cutting each other
