i posted this on Lost newsgroup first but in case any Losties have
migrated:

Hawaii 5-0 last week seemed like a nod to Lost. Jin (i mean the 5-0
character who's name escapes me) explaining to the others how boar
are
hunted on the north shore beach and how the area is protected by a
secret group dedicated to preserving the nature of the island. Dont
know if it was intentional or just a coincidence, but it resonated.
