ex. harry when he swims with dumbledore to the cave to get the horcrux,
dumbledore dries harrys clothes
if he can't dry his own clothes, how will he get voldemort?
LOL. Good one!
And, in GOF, the morning of the first task, he has trouble putting on
his clothes in the right places, because he's "distracted." He's
putting his hat on his foot. Maybe they don't dress themselves, either,
until the seventh year. Since Harry won't be going back to
Hogwarts...well, I hope Voldy doesn't "distract" Harry when they're
battling it out... =)

As we saw with Tonks, she made it as an auror, but had difficulty with
household-type spells. It's not inconceivable that Harry is similar.

Maybe they don't teach everyday household magic at Hogwarts. Hmm do they
still have Home Ec in muggle schools?
They don't, after all, normally teach students how to work the automatic
washer and dryer in muggle schools. You're expected to have picked up
that sort of thing at home, hence college students in laundromats having
pink underwear from washing the dark red shirts in hot water with the
white cotton undies... Or else laboriously sorting the reds from the
greens from the blues from the, etc., because they've heard you have to
sort your laundry. (No, I did not make either of those up.)
Good thing for Harry that in fiction, these lapses of
home-and-housekeeping skills seldom occur except as comic relief, or a
bit of local color.

Throw a bucket of water on him, turn on a giant fan. Wizards are that
stupid, after all. and the ones how lived in the Muggle world don't
understand that wizards can make fire.

Do you know how many people think that to separate eggs is to
literally move them apart? I understand not knowing it's yolk from
whites, but seriously, what on Earth makes anyone think putting a
little distance between two eggs can result in food being made?
Commons sense alone says that's not what you do. Yet so many people
don't have common sense.
There is a big difference between not knowing something and letting
someone else do it.

Don't worry, during the last battle with LV Harry will not be care
whether he dressed or not!!! :) I think he will have more important
problems to think about. For example, how to survive...
