Kong, is born in Jacksonville, Fla.
1905: BASIL DINGHAM, who played an Admiral Brooks in "Gorgo", is born
in Sheffield, England.
1909: JOHN BECK, who produced the U.S. release of "King Kong vs.
Godzilla", is born in Pomona, Calif. He also produced "Harvey" and
"The Singing Nun".
1929: HIDEO TAKAMATSU, who played Tano no Oni-jyu on "Transforming
Ninja Arashi", is born in Nagaoka, Kochi, Japan.
1931: KEN UTSUI, who played Starman (a.k.a. Super Giant) in "Atomic
Rulers of the World", "Invaders From Space", "Attack From Space", and
"Evil Brain From Outer Space", is born in Tokyo.
1943: GLENN FORD, who played President Richardson in "Virus", marries
Eleanor Powell.
1956: MITSUO MIURA, cinematographer on "Madame White Snake", dies.

debuts on Japanese TV.

1974: CATHERINE SUTHERLAND, who played Katherine Hilliard a.k.a. the
Pink Power Ranger on "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", "Power Rangers
Zeo", "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie", and "Power Rangers Turbo", is
born in Sydney, Australia. She also played Cat Monster on MMPR, and
was the voice of Dana Mitchell the Pink Lightspeed Ranger on "Power
Rangers Time Force" and Tezzla on "Power Rangers Wild Force".
JOHN BURGMEIER, the voice of Chikuma Koshirou in the English
dub of “Shinobi”, is born in Chicago.

Style is Red Shaolin Fist", debuts on Japanese TV.
AIKO ITO, who played Itsuki Ranru/Abare Yellow on "Blast
Dragon Squadron Abaranger", "Blast Dragon Squadron Abaranger vs.
Hurricanger", and "Special Police Squadron Dekaranger vs.
Abaranger" (making a guest appearance on "Power Rangers Dino
Thunder"), and Aya Jinguuji in "Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman
Brothers", is born in Kanagawa, Japan.
1981: Episode 37 of "Solar Squadron Sunvulcan", “Himiko!” debuts on
Japanese TV.
1984: "Variety" reports that the budget for miniature work on
"Godzilla 1985" has reached $6.25 million.
1985: MASAICHI NAGATA, executive producer of the original Gamera and
Daimajin series, dies of pneumonia at 79.
1987: Episode 35 of "Aura Squadron Maskman", "The Riddle of Zeeba! The
Forbidden Grave", debuts on Japanese TV.
1993: EDWIN RAND, who played Lieutenant John Nolan in "Tarantula",
dies in Palm Springs, Calif.

1995: SHIRLEY FALLS, who played the switchboard operator in "Earth vs.

1997: DON MESSICK, who was the voice of Godzooky on "The Godzilla

2002: KIMIKA YOSHINO, who played Misa Kuroi in "Eko Eko Azarak: Wizard
