Yoshiaki Ashikaga in "G.I. Samurai", the SDF Minister in "Deathquake",
and Foreign Minister Emori in "Godzilla 1985", is born in Tokyo. He
was also in "The Last Days of Planet Earth" and “Tales of Terror from
Tokyo: Volume I”.
1930: EIJI MARUYAMA, who appeared on "Kamen Rider" and was the voice
of Rhapsody on "Super Manchine: Metalder", is born in Tokyo.
1950: WOLF MUSER, who appeared on "The DaDa Effect" episode of
"Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero", is born in Esslingen, Germany.
1954: A private screening of "Gojira" is held for core members of the
filmmaking crew.
1955: RYOKO SAKAGUCHI, who played Junko Horiguchi in Episode 23 of
"Iron King" and Yuki in Episode 50 of "Ultraman Taro", is born.
1959: SAM RAIMI, executive producer of "The Grudge" and "The Grudge
2", is born in Franklin, Mich. He was the producer, director, and/or
writer of "The Evil Dead", "Crimewave", "Evil Dead II", "Darkman",
"Army of Darkness", "The Quick and the Dead", "A Simple Plan", "For
Love of the Game", "The Gift", "Spider-Man", "Spider-Man 2", “Spider-
